Ottke is a deadly puncher when he feels he needs the KO, as demonstrated clearly in his masterpiece vs Undefeated Mundine in that legendary night :boxer

Calzaghe was floored bad, all but out vs the balding NY cab driver Kabary Salem & two old guys :dead

If Ottke decides to go Kinetic on Calzaghe, the Sardinian will be Sardined by the uber German perfectionist :deal

He loves to put a show for his pleasant fans :happy

In the Mundine fight, the crowd asked him to KO Mundine, because they didn't like his unfamiliar facial features, so he switched gears :boxer

Had they fought on neutral territory then Ottke would lose convincingly via UD.

Had they fought in Wales then Ottke would lose convincingly via UD or maybe even be stopped.

Had they fought in Germany then Ottke would have won via a close SD.

When you think of how pathetic Sven Ottke's career really was then I mean come the **** on, that kind of stuff should really be illegal.

They should arrest Ottke, melt his olympic medals and place the vermin in prison for the rest of his life really.

prime for prime, Calzaghe would dish out a one sided beating until he stopped Ottke in about 7-8 rounds.

Joe's style and pressure is all wrong for a fighter who likes, and needs his space to be effective.

Calzaghe said he would go to Germany to fight Ottke if they were willing to fight. they weren't. so it never happened.

Ottke didn't clearly beat Johnson either. he beat him by 2 points on my card.

i've recently scored a few fights of Ottke (not all) and the only robbery so far has been the Reid fight. a fight in which the ref, the crowd, and Ottke himself, were ****ing terrible.

when they had common opponents, Ottke won close fights against (not including Reid) but Calzaghe thrashed them in dominant fashion.

Calzaghe is superior in every single way possible. to say Ottke stands a chance, is just an ignorant and foolish opinion that should be ignored due to it being incredibly insulting.

Ottke though is a very good fighter who gets dogged for robberies that never even happened. he has a very good resume that can't be denied over some damn good, solid fighters. but he's nowhere near to the level of Joe. not many were.

HerolGee is still a sad bag of ****** spunk.

even in Germany they couldn't snatch the win. Calz would have ground him down and stopped him. he's all wrong for Ottke. :deal

Joe got a gift against Reid as well. That ref saved Joe and without the point deduction Reid would of won.

Ottka had the reign with the better belt. Ottka >>Calzaghe.

To say that Ottke wouldn't stand a chance is silly, because he would. I'd favor Calzaghe on a neutral ground, but not as easily as some people say, because Ottke was a well schooled boxer with a good sense of distance himself. I'd say that his peak as a pro was between 1998 and 2001/02, considering that he turned pro while being around 30 years old.
Like I said, I'd favor Joe prime vs. prime, but Ottke would definitely have a fair chance to win.

Spagghetti fists Calzaghe can't even get Ottke to blink with his best spaghetti left. Ottke never been floored all his life, typical hater :-(

Ottke faced the better competition, it kept steady

Calzaghe greatest win is 5'5" Jeff Lacy :happy
