One of the WORST PPV cards i can remember. At least with some of the shitty Toprank PPV's they had a competitive Main Event fight but Mayweather-Maidana is a total mismatch in skills, speed and ring intelligence. Khan vs Collazo is a fight between two guys who are not Top 10 Welterweights, it's a decent fight on regular Showtime but not just before the Main Event. Broner vs Carlos Molina(Khan version) is a truly shitty fight, absolute no value whatsoever. J'leon Love vs Periban is a Shobox fight and willl be a borefest. The Pac vs Bradley undercard isn't that great but it's full of competitive fights and is WAAAAY better then the shitty Mayweather one.
Not a solid night at all. The main fights are mismatches which serve to set up September's Khan Mayweather fight. This fight realistically should do under 800k buys. Not only is it a bad main event, we can also be sure that the next likely fight is already set... and it's against the guy that even Floyd nut riders didn't want. Floyds idiotic fan base will still pay though.
Love vs Periban might be evenly.matched, but truth is not many really looking forward to it. Khan shoulda been facing Broner. Instead they taking a gamble with a dangerous vet in Collazo, who has a slowly growing PR fanbase, so might be a win-win for Gbp. Still, don't be surprised if another upset is in order!
That makes no sense man. I mean, your know who is going to win so why not wait a week and watch it for free? I get that your want to see him fight...but paying for this fight and knowing he is fighting Khan next....really??? Why would your support that????
