Wrong the competition does suck. Plus all Wlad does is clinch and grab because he knows he can't take a punch.

Yes, he's past his best now.

His peak was around the time of the Chagaev fight - his prime was 2007-2012.

Wlad seemed to labor in the ring by times last year, sweating lot more than he used to, needing to hold more often.

Yeah, he's just not quite the same anymore. I don't think a guy like Leapai is going to be the man to do it but his days are coming to an end.

I also notice his competition has gotten worse the last handful of defenses outside of Povetkin. I don't know if thats a coinincidence or he's being matched softer because he's in decline.

There's a reason he chose those opponents.

K-2 and Sauerland have different TV deals, so that's partly why Pulev is being delayed. Tyson Fury turned down a fight before they chose Mariusz Wach. Wlad was going to fight Odlanier Solis instead of Pianeta, but Don King (who was co-promoter of Solis then) killed the fight. The WBO insists he fight Leapai.

Wlad just wants to unify all the belts now.

If Arreola wins the WBC, he'll fight him as soon as he can, and probably only fight two or three times after that.

    Wladimir is classy...

But Adonis is a low-down dirt bag who was convicted of beating up teenaged girls.

I think he referring to Stevenson ego since he signed with Haymon for example here is what he had to say about Sergi

"They can hype your name in the boxing world as much as they want to, but at the end of the day, it's how much you are getting paid that matters. While I will fight for millions, you will keep fighting for thousands," said Stevenson.
"You can keep begging me to fight you so your broke ass can make some money. I won't fight you for a million dollars. It's got to be more than that. Skills pay the bills. The more skill you have, the more you get paid. So as I can see you don't have to much of it, because your ass is still broke."

    and more
"My answer to Sergey's weak chin is that, first of all, let's make it clear: No one is scared of your sorry ass. I fight for a living, and in order to live in this world, we need money. So I fight for money," said Stevenson, a 36-year-old southpaw.
"If the money is right, I will be more than glad to come give you a good ass-whooping in the ring. Besides having power, you have nothing special. Your defense is terrible, and it won't be to hard to find your big ugly head with that long-ass chin."

Don't sound classy to me no offense :rofl
