travis kauffman can beat at least 10 or more in top 25 most of bottom list but has good chance vs others 1 seth mitchell 2 ruslan chagaev 3 francesco pianita 4 amir mansour 5 lucas browne 6 carlos takam 7 johnathan banks 8 odlanier solis 9 tomasz adamek (now) 10 tony thompson
Why don't we first wait and see if he can actually beat a top 100 fighter before we're going to compare the guy against top 25 guys.
Mitchell, Monsour, and....maybe Banks and Solis if they're as lazy as they were in their latest fights. chagaev is too coy a boxer and too solid a chin. Too much power.....and Kauffman aint been active enough in the top 100 to prove he can take Chaggy. Pianeta lands his straight L hand with incredible accuracy. Kauffman aint exactly slick, so he'd be eating them early and often. Same goes for Thompson. Browne and Takam are too big.....too strong....and way to powerful for Kaufmman to be stepping up against. We just saw an old Adamek nearly beat Glaskov who appears to be peeking......just cuz a top 10 HW in Glaskov squeaked by him, don't give a lower top 50 much hope. Adamek is too fast and too iron willed for Kauffman who would be discouraged by Adameks double jab and cping.:think
He just needs to get active. He was beating Grano before he faded and got caught..... Best for Kauffman to start making fights, rather than trying to sign paydays that he'd likely lose. Yeah, Grano would be a good start, but idk if Grano is even fighting these days. Darnell Wilson is though, and he'd be happy to oblige any and all upncomers and fringe contenders. How's bout Kaufmman gets busy first and foremost. Best not worry bout the past or the future.....just get to fighting in the present.
This. There was a 21 year old Heavyweight Agit Kabayel on the undercard of the Thompson/Solis fight who was fighting tough journeyman Gbenga Oloukun in only his 10th fight, Oloukun is a better win then any Kaufman has so far and he's 28 years old with 29 fights. There's a reason Kaufman is still fighting bums, his people know he'd get knocked the feck out as soon as he steps up. The only American Heavyweights under 30 years old that people should be interested in are: Bryant Jennings. Deontay Wilder. Winner between Alexander Flores vs Charles Martin. and possibly Dominic Breazeale. I'm not including Andy Ruiz jr as technically he's Mexican.
I can think of at least 50 guys who would beat Kaufmann no problem... Stop it with these ******ed threads, Kauffman is a bum.
kauffman cant get any good fights with his promoter kauffman schools adamek in sparring several times and was beating jennings most of the 10 rds they sparred he will be in top 20 end of this year and ill be here to throw it in ur face and kauffman schools takam and browne with ease also will whip the hell outa ruslan chagaev
From what I've seen of Kauffman (not much), he appears to be aggressive while having a very poor control of space and a bad defense, therefore being pretty easy target to hit for any well schooled boxer. Here's what I think would happen against some of the guys you've mentioned: Seth Mitchell - He could perhaps defeat Mitchell I believe, although I'm not sure if he's a top 25 guy. Definitely not top 20 though. Ruslan Chagaev - Although Chagaev is now slow and doesn't have his reflexes anymore, he's still a league above Kauffman and would likely school him. Francesco Pianeta - Pianeta is an accurate, hard hitting boxer, he knocks Kauffman out in a couple of rounds Imo. Amir Mansour - Never seen Mansour so I can't say. Lucas Browne - Pretty much same as above. Carlos Takam - Judging on Takam's fight against Perez, he's a very strong fighter with a good inside game. I'd favor Takam. Johnathan Banks - Not sure, didn't see much of Banks either. Odlanier Solis - Solis schools Kauffman no doubt, most likely stops him. Tomasz Adamek - This could perhaps be a winnable fight for Kauffman considering that Adamek is now very slow and way past his peak, and unlike Chagaev, he doesn't have the movement and distance control to keep him from getting hit by the faster boxers, so Trevis could win this, although I'd still favor Adamek. Tony Thompson - Tony just showed against Solis that he isn't done yet and I wouldn't give Kauffman much chance to beat him. Anyway, I don't consider Trevis Kauffman a top 30 boxer, so it's little ridiculous claiming that he would have defeated all those mentioned guys, much less "whip the hell outa" Ruslan Chagaev, whom Trevis stands really minimal chances against.
If Kauffman wants to get a big fight he should start fighting the top 20/10 fighters, prefer top ten...........
who is willing to fight him at the top 20/10??? he wants arreola fury povetkin or chisora i think he could use a good 6 more fights vs likes of joe hanks chazz witherspoon alonzo butler devin vargas eric molina jason estrada franklin lawrence kevin johnson lateef kayode or guys like that then step up to top 15 fighters kauffman will surprise u watch and see talk to bryant jenning amir mansour or eddie chambers they will tell u instagram them
Exactly:good Seems he hellbent on getting a 100K payday fight, being brought in as an opponent. How about making some club dates, and getting his name out there, winning vs lower top 100 guys.:think
