    I don't want Ottke €s :nono

As a fan who enjoyed his fights...I owe him...if I know his p.o. Box I will send him a cheque , that KO of Undefeated Mundine alone is bigger than anything CalZaghe slapped his way too :dead

    Especially Undefeated Mundine :boxer

Mundine is real danger, he stopped 6 boxers for the firat time and sometimes only time in their life...Soloman and Mosley in top of my head

Ottke perfect defense and selectively heavy hands mode...destroyed Mundine :dead

How many title defenses Marciano did :huh

La Starza was his step up, Tony Tucker type...then Washed up Joe Louis & an ancient Mongoose :dead

I am not sure as Marciano 49-0 remains the highest...nobody can retire higher than that...So thats Marciano real legacy...until someone dies as 50-0-0 Marciano remains high on the ATG list :think

Hi, Bernard. How's working for Oscar going. You still putting milk and sugar in his morning coffee?

What kind of car do you driving him in?

Here's what I saw: Reid put a clinic on the phantom who legitimately knocked down Sven and would have repeatedly if the red didn't keep penalising him for wait for it: punching Ottke in the head.

I have no doubt that I think Calzaghe would easily beat and stop Ottke.
It was Ottke that didnt want to face Calzaghe who was willing to go to Germany.
They had 6 common opponents and Calzaghe looked better against all of them.
Also Calzaghe had the stronger resume at SMW with undefeated Lacy, undefeated Kessler and Eubank, though Ottke did have a fantastic resume also, arguably in the SMW top 3. I rate Ottkes resume very highly at SMW, behind Calzaghes and Eubanks, but its still very good.

    Still Calzaghe wins

Debateable. I think Calzaghes KO of Mitchell who was a 2 time SMW champ who had never been clearly beaten at SMW is greater.

You would possibly enjoy my Ottke tribute thread. Was a fan myself

Do you remember how Ottke outboxed G Johnson only for people to try and rewrite history?

As you are a fan of Ottke you will possibly look at this without rose tinted glasses, with an old thread of mine below.

Now that the excellent Sven Ottke is up for nomination for the IBHOF, I thought we could all look back and admire some of his great work and compare Ottkes 21 title defences to Hopkins 20 title defences (As Hopkins lost defence 21 I wont include that)
Lets compare their fights and see whos reign was most impressive naming key fights

    Ottke beat
