To be fair, Audley has done well when he has stepped down in quality, take the prizefighters as an example... He has been demolished by Haye,Wilder and Price, but AJ is not at that level yet. It would be a decent test for AJ, and one last big fight for Audley, I know I shouldn't, but i really like the guy
If that maxi nutrition does a heavyweight tournie he should enter beat some guys with a bad record then when haye returns take over the boxing world with him renew the plan
I know I shouldn't and everything on record tells me so but I can't help but root for Audley. What frustrates me is that he has all the attributes to be real contender in the HW division apart from his glass chin and lack of heart. I love backing an underdog though and that left hand when he is in the mood would knock any HW out if landed flush
I don't think someone can be considered a FRAUD who has a Olympic Gold medal... did he fail to fufill his potential? Yes massively, but fraud? Hardly.
Him turning his back on punches is criminal and going down in every big match up without a decent challenge is a disgrace. You lose but go out fighting, then fair play. Turn your back on punches and look like a **** scared fighter then you don't deserve big fights.
He was called fraudly because it was a witty play on audley. The guy massively disapointed, but surely a fraud is someone completely built up by a promoter or network? He achieved the very pinnacle of amateur sport, plus British and European titles...
