Lol, Collazo won't even be Khan's sixth best win and he's still arguably better than ANY of Brook's previous opponents.

The difference between Brook and Khan is Brook is a cherry-picking pretender who will never achieve half of what Khan has achieved. He's what now? 30+ fights and still hasn't fought a top ten contender, unless Senchenko counts? Even he got STOPPED by the featherfisted Paulie.

I don't blame Khan for not fighting Brook, Collazo is proven at world level. He's beaten Ortiz, gave Hatton all he can handle and also stopped two proven world level operators in Miguel Angel Gonzales and Jose Antonio Rivera.
While he also gave Berto all he could handle as well.

This is going to be a tough tough night for Khan as Collazo is a very strong welterweight who is a good counterpuncher, the difference is though Khan may get hurt and stunned and dropped but he'll get up and fight through it to win.

Khan has gone again for a tough underrated opponent and hasn't fought bums. While people may hate Khan for many things, he's a fighter that wants to face the best and better himself and be tested.

Which is far more than I can say for many of the applauded boxers in Britain who are happy to sit on undefeated records facing D+ pretenders.

As a pose for fighting a man whose best win is a toss up between Matthew Hatton and Senchenko.:patsch

If Kell is such an easy fight, for the money Khan could get paid and for the credit Khan could get in Britain I don't see how Collazo is a better option than Brook. Kell absolutely destroyed a former world champion is Senchenko and has looked a class above all opposition he's faced baring the first Carson Jones fight. Now Brook needs the step up and he's trying to step up by facing Khan or fighting for a world title which injuries have prevented him from so far.
People are overrating Collazo massively because he has a win over a shot Victor Ortiz who wasn't much in the first place, and he had a good performance against Ricky Hatton, which was Hatton's first fight at Welterweight, where he even admitted to having problems with that weight.

Would rather have seen him fight Broner.

Not a bad fight at all, Collazo is a tricky opponent for anyone at 147. What is a worry is that Khan seems to be looking past him, his comments about challenging Mayweather in the post fight press conference reek of complacency.

It's saying something when Collazo is better than any of Brooks opponents so far, and it's Khans first 147 fight.

Number 3 WBA and he's ranked by the WBC.

Barrera, Malignaggi, Judah, Maidana, Peterson, Garcia and Molina. Khan may have flaws, but other than Froch, there isn't a British boxer in recent years who's fought tougher opposition.

The blind Kell Brook love / Amir Khan hatred on here is comical. I like Brook and I like Khan, but in terms of what they've achieved, they're worlds apart at the moment.

Can't believe people are bad mouthing Khan for this fight. This is a good solid opponent for what will be his first fight at 147 and his first fight in nearly a year. Collazo might not be at his peak but will be on a high after defeating Ortiz. I'm looking forward to it

It's a decent enough fight, but when you spout off that you only fight the best then sign this you're going to look an idiot. Same old, same old for Khan.
