Strange. Floyd is the best fighter on the planet........... and Khan was set to face him until Floyd chose Maidana. If he gets through Collazo then hopefully he will (according to Floyd) get his chance to fight the P4P King. Not sure who you reckon he needs to face to not look like an idiot?

Khan's mouth is his own worst enemy, he talks of being 'above' Brook and only fighting the best, but as you say it is his first fight at 147, he could easily have stated this as his reason, but he didn't.

Instead he went for the brash ****y approach, which has served him so poorly over the last few years.

Like previously stated, good first fight at 147, doesn't live up to Khan's earlier ****y assertians.

He was never 'set' to fight Floyd, he was chasing a Floyd fight, after if became apparent this wasn't going to happen Floyd said to fight Broner if you want to fight me, Khan refused.

Khan was also offered Brook for very good money, but apparently he only fights the best. He then announces Collazo fight despite already turning down two better fights due to his assertion that he only fights the best.

The problem isn't the fight, its the garbage he's spouted in regard to the two better fights he turned down. 'I'm not ready' or 'It's my first fight at the weight' are viable excuses for turning the fights down, unfortunately 'I only fight the best' has proven time and again to be bollocks.

I thought Floyd wanted him to beat Broner for that fight no?

    totally agree

Collazo is a good fighter fresh of sparking a younger fancied fighter - people saying he's past it need to look at his record. Hes on a 4 fight win streak sparked Ortiz who is a decent and should have a win over Bero.

Hes awkward. Hits hard and is a big welterweight - this is risky for Khan and calling out Floyd he seems to be looking past him and Collazo is dangerous silly thing to do. If he doesn't give Collazo his full attention hes getting sparked

He's gonna be so much bigger than Khan - he even looked bigger than Mosley when they fought and will rehydrate in the low 160's.

This is a good solid fight for Khan - anybody complaining about it is just ridiculous and either they know nothing about boxing or can't stand Khan. Collazo is very big & strong at the weight and he will cause all sorts of scares for Khan -I also give him a shot at winning on points or maybe late tko unfortunately.

This is a good fight on paper and no doubt will turn out to be a belter.

Collazo is very, very underrated. Big, strong, decent chin, can box and can punch hard enough to stop Khan. Can't see anything but a mid rounds stoppage for Collazo myself.

Plus the fact the length of time since Khan's been out of the ring, i think Collazo wins this, he's a good fighter who seems hungry again.

I think this is a good match up for Khan. Collazo is no bum and is a tough fighter so I can definitely see him giving Khan a lot of problems but I do expect Khan to get through it and win on the scorecards.

Don't understand why people are hating on this fight.

Khan's first fight at 147, and is better than any 147 fighter Kell has ever fought.. Says it all really..

Typical of the British Khan to fight and beat weak competition - just like Calzaghe (except for his gift against Hopkins) Hatton - best win being Malignaggi, and Froch - the whole 168 division is weak outside of Ward.

Lennox is the only exception to weak British boxing in the post Turpin era - and he isn't even true British
