    Will the winner of Bradley-Pacquiao II be the lineal WW champion?

    Negative, VG. Only a meeting between the #1 and the #2 starts a new lineage.

    If the winners of Floyd-Maidana and Pac-Bradley II face each other, will the winner of that fight be the lineal champion?

    Only if they are ranked #1 and #2 at the time of their fight (Which seems likely).

    But a fight between the winners of those fights probably won't happen, since Pac and Bradley are in TR, and Floyd and Maidana are in GBP.

    Sorry if this is a stupid question, but isn't Floyd already the lineal WW champion? He's clearly the best in the division, with Pacquiao's decline.

    Only a meeting between the #1 and #2 contenders can crown a lineal WW champ.

    Pacquiao landed all of two punches for the whole fight. How in the hell do you win a fight when you spend most of the night swinging @ air?

    Here is a little boxing lesson for you. A fight is scored on four criteria;

    Clean Punching
    Effective Agression
    Ring Generalship
    Defense

    Bradley beat Pacquiao in every category, especially during the latter half of the fight. This was no robbery but a close fight in which the decision could have gone either way. Anyone who thinks that fight could have been scored a shutout doesn't know **** about boxing or how to properly score a fight.

    There is an argument for this requirement having been fulfilled when Mayweather fought Mosley...

    Then answer me this; who should have been ranked #1 and #2 @ 147 on the night Mayweather beat Mosley?

    As far as heavyweight goes, time to boot Helenius for inactivity and put Arreola at #10. Also the winner of Cunningham vrs. Mansour will be a candidate for the Top 10.

    Mcgrain can you please explain the history of welter lineage. Some say after Floyd retired it was re-established when Margarito beat Cotto, then Mosley beating Margarito and Mayweather beating Mosley.

    Thank you for your time.
