how is 3GGG that much better than Kelly Pavlik?

Golovkin 32 and waiting around for what? if he was all is cracked up to be he would be challenging Ward, or mixing it up at 168 were no one fears him. Hell, Kelley went to 170 and fought Hopkins. yet 3GGG hangs around fighting guys 5'5" in Stevenson and doing what? he should be cleaning up where ever he can, instead he wastes time waiting on the corpse of Sergio Martinez

 

I wouldn't look to much into age. Golovkin had a long amatuer career, Pavlik did not.

Pavlik turned pro at just 18 years of age, 6 years younger than Golovkin. It took him almost 8 years to get the Taylor fight.

Golovkin is just now entering his 8th year, we'll see what happens.

 

He should clean out mw if possible so when he moves up he does as the champ, not paper champ. But none of the mw top 10 will fight him so hes likely fighting Chavez at 168 next

What Triple Duck did as an amateur means jack sh1t in the pros and, as a pro, the only thing he has done is crush TOMATO CANs.

Yet the majority of people consider Golovkin the best middleweight in the world. When Martinez either fights him or retires it will be irrefutable. Triple Duck is a good name for him considering how avoided he is.

Pavlik? Seriously? In technical skills, GGG is superior. In power, GGG is superior. By 2015, the resume argument will be moot, so the resume parrots squawking "resume" in every GGG thread are going to need to get a better cover story as to why they hate GGG. Start thinking of one now. :think

 

It's funny that you don't call out S.O.D. (Son of Duck) for saying "A Golovkin fight might make sense down the road." and "A fight with Golovkin might be a big PPV fight in the future." Biased much? If we call one a duck, we have to call the other a duck, too, if we're being objective.

To be clear, I don't believe Ward or GGG have ducked a fight with the other, and I do believe we will see these two guys in the ring together, barring defeats or retirements.

 

Back when GGG literally couldnt get anyone in the ring other than Ishida, Ward says those kinds of things you quoted.

Then.. once GGG profile higher, and insider rumor is big PPV with a Chavez or Froch is in the works for summer/fall suddenly its all "Why hasnt GGG come to seek a fight with me!"

 

i don't think he is. well, he hasn't proven to be at this point. he could do though, but that remains to be seen.

Pavlik has a better resume, and to me, would win in a H2H fight.

 

I would have loved to have seen this fight. Kelly was a tough SOB and had a good jab and pop. His footwork wasn't good and he couldn't fight on the inside. GGG has better all around skills but is smaller.

Pavlik beat undefeated MW champ Taylor. Golovkin has yet to fight someone of that level. Miranda when Pavlik beat him is arguably a better opponent to any of Golovkins current victims.
