Would've been a good fight just to watch the jab contest alone.

I just wish Kelly was still around. 160 would be a great division if he was.

Most of these new born Pavlik fans hated the guy when he fought. Picked him to get smashed by Miranda. Cried fluke when he stopped Taylor and rejoiced when he lost to Hopkins.

Now when confronted with a terror from the East like Golovkin, suddenly Pavlik is their guy and would have spared their fragile sensibilities the indignity of GGG tearing through the division(s).

Exactly. Pavlik was getting so much **** on forums like this, about as much as Golovkin. Now he represents better days.

**** off, the lot of you.

Such is the cycle of boxing.

For me, Pavliks the hometown guy just like Porter. Not many world class boxers from Midwest states, so when local-ish guys do make it big its hard not to be a fan.

Unless they are total embarrassments like Broner.

Semantics. You call world title holders prospects then? Dumbass.

Who gives a ****? Everybody but you. Sergio's promoter acknowledged the fact that Sergio's successor has already been identified but not yet been crowned, and that's Golovkin. Tube it.

How would he be a "paper champ" for getting Sergio's belt? So, when a lineal champ retires, everybody becomes a paper champ? I guess Kessler was a paper champ when Calzaghe retired, which makes Ward a paper champ himself. Nice.

    :rofl

Stevenson is 5'11" and fights at LHW... oh you mean former SMW 5'7" Stevens? Crack is bad for you. :conf

Golovkin would have outboxed Pavlik. The skill level was way too much for Pavlik..............

    Bollocks, lad.

In terms of wins, Kelly has Taylor, who at the time was superior to any name GGG has.

    But that's it.

In terms of loses, Kelly has an ancient BHop and a small Sergio.

Pavlik would probably have lost to Chavez junior at 168, so GGG-Chavez will be a decent meter for GGG.

    LOL :rofl:rofl:rofl

I think you have unintentionally help him make his point.
It's amazing that you fail to realize it.

As you said, Kelly has Taylor, Hopkins, and Sergio on his resume.
GGG has faced nobody of the caliber of either of those fighters. Therefore, he is correct. Pavlik's resume is > GGG's. :yep
