If the rumour mill is correct Matchroom will have a show on the 27th June in glasgow with Ricky Headlining and Simmons Vs Commacho also with John Simpson looking to comeback to Featherweight , How long do yous think untill an official press release on this and a named opponent , Or will they wait untill the winner of Crolla vs Murray is confirmed as that seems to be the likely opposition at this time

    Thoughts on this folks ???

A fight against the winner of Murray vs Crolla is a good match for Ricky as a comeback fight. I would favour Ricky against either of them. Too big for Ant and too smart for Murray. Great to hear it's back in Braehead, usually a fantastic atmosphere in the bowl amphitheater.

These Scottish cards are the worst shows Eddie promotes. Fair play Ricky headlining, no complains about that. But Simmons and Simpson as main supports is an embarrassment.

Good idea,I think. Ive got a feeling that Murray will have too much left, and be too tough mentally and physically for Crolla. Then it would be a great fight with Burns. This might sound a bit silly, but I wouldn't be all that keen if it was Crolla.

Crolla imo could be a W.C at superfeather , never a lightweight in his life and a great wee boxer and toplad into the bargain , normally weighs in around 9st6 so making super feather would be a doddle , Seems to be Gallagher pushes him towards the 9,9 division

Yeah ant came in at few days notice and beat john watson for the british title. His weight since that fight has been just under champ limit for lightweight bar pf where he was 9st 10lbs. Imo if he wanted to get back down to super feather he cud but a lot more bigger fights at lightweight for him

Also limond was his first defence

I'm not to happy about the thought of Burns fighting the winner of Crolla-Murray.
Maybe four years ago, but not now.

I just don't understand how Burns has to fight the winner of this match when a guy he smashed not long ago (Kevin Mitchell) is getting a world title shot against Miguel Vasquez at Wembley?
I mean WTF! Burns has had ten WORLD title fights on the bounce, while Mitchell has done sweet F.A to get a title shot.

I wonder what Team Burns are thinking about this especially his manager Alex Morrison?
Morrison is not so slow going on Facebook telling the world what he thinks about this and that, so lets hope he's just as quick in telling Hearn to stick his f*cking Crolla/Murray winner up his arse until Ricky gets his deserved WORLD title fight.

Aye right, Burns versus Crolla/Murray winner = Bollocks :finger Ram it Hearn.

    snooze ya lose Ryan

i dare say its more to do with Burns actually winning a fight or 2 before another world class fight, get a few wins and confidence back first because he has hardly won a round in last 3 fights
