Kovalev has a glass chin? Boone knocked him down, yes. He also got back up and won the fight. Boone also sparked Stevenson and knocked down Ward. So what?

Against Boone, you don't know a thing about Kovalev.

In the main event, highly regarded light heavyweight Sergey Kovalev (10-0, 9 KOs) was knocked down in round seven, but escaped with a narrow eight round split decision win over veteran upset specialist Darnell Boone (17-16-3, 7 KOs). Scores were 76-75, 76-75 for Kolalev, 76-75 for Boone.

his was a great learning experience for Kovalev, who was sent to canvas for the first time in his career in round seven but stood up to win victory.

Although Boone knocked Kovalev down twice, the judges awarded Kovalev the split decision. (One I believe did not count, was probably an off balanced shot or a trip or whatnot)

    :hi:

It doesnt matter if you get knocked down. As long as you get up. Even if its in the next fight.
Holyfield got stopped by Bowe. Was he a bum too? It happens. Especially when you're a slugger.
