What makes the record more special is that it's 8 titles over the span of TEN divisions as he skipped 115 and 118.

Pacquiao turned pro weighing 98lbs. He's fought in classes from 108 to a catchweight at 150. That's basically a 50% increase in body weight. That's tantamount to a guy starting at 160 and getting to 240.

Wow, I'm done here. You don't know sh¡t. Canelo didn't weigh 153 for the Trout fight, it was 153.5. Floyd didn't weigh 144 for the Marquez fight, it was 146. I won't spend any more time correcting your mistakes and meddling with your idiocy.

If Pacquiao beats Bradley at 147 then it would mean he's won titles in 7 divisions not at catch weights. (Remember also, that although he won the WW belt at 45, he has had defences at 47).

I have a feeling Lomachenko will beat it. I can see him fighting middleweights at catchweight of 140 if Bob has his way.

Now, Tim Bradley is the most dangerous man in the WW division (when he is Pac's opponent)? If it were Bradley vs Mayweather...they would be calling Tim Bradley a cherry pick. That's the difference between Floyd and Manny.

If you re-read what I posted, you will take back this post.. If Canelo can't make 154 he shouldn't fight there.. That's why I said 2 pounds since, the catch weight was 152, or 1 if you look at the Trout fight.. If you want to make a big deal about .5 pounds fine I was wrong..

I also clearly said IF Floyd weighed 144, which was the agreed on weight, he WOULD HAVE been more drained than Alvarez supposedly was according to people that's not him out his camp.. The last time Mayweather weighed less than 146 was the Gatti fight in 05.. Which is a longer time than Canelo according to what you posted.. How can I explain it better?

Alright, you're right, I misread the second one. My bad. I don't know if Mayweather would've been drained if he had made it. I'm guessing he would have, otherwise he would've kept that cash in his pocket and just made the contracted weight.

My opinion is that he drained Canelo. But I don't know if Canelo was drained, and I don't know if those 2 lbs would've made any difference. But people make this assumption that because Floyd dominated Alvarez, those two pounds couldn't possibly have made any difference. That's their opinion I guess, but personally, I refuse to credit Mayweather (or anyone, really) for things they haven't accomplished. He didn't beat Canelo at 154, he beat him at a catchweight. How the fight would've went at 154 is anyone's guess, no one knows because it didn't happen that way.

Also, when we're talking about 2 lbs, and you say in a way it was only 1 lb, yes, I think .5 lb is meaningful. It's 50% of the difference you're claiming.

they're snobs that probably never put on a pair of boxing gloves. they think they know it all and if someone disagrees with their views then they are considered noobs. in this case, he's probably suffering from antisocial behavior due all this trolling of common quotes that would aggravate the common poster on this forum. Ridiculous Pacquiao is one of the best in Boxing. He's not the best!

    Floyd is the best.

Pacquiao's career accomplishments are ATG, in the same way that Floyd, JMM, and Hopkins will always get credit beyond recent success for what they've done over time. Pacquiao still likely stays in the top 10; just like Floyd definitely and Ward and Bradley almost certainly would should they lose their next fight.

If someone ranked him outside the top 10, I would understand it as long as it was consistent. If someone ranked him in the top 5, I'd be curious to see if Hopkins or Roy Jones Jr. were there as well.
