But seriously, if Ward beats him in London, that would GREATLY boost his stock.

On the other hand, if Groves beats him, he'll have back to back wins over Ward and Froch. That would almost certainly put him in the P4P rankings.

A walker from The Walking Dead has more energy than that version of Dawson. Invalid point.

Don't know why people would make threads about Ward when the man can't even sign for a fight right now. He's doing "bible studies" and waiting for court days against Goossen.

Did you seriously just try to categorize Mikkel Kessler as a brawler? Have you ever seen him fight? If anyone in the Super-Six could be described as a fast, athletic boxer-puncher, it was Kessler.

If he does happen to beat Froch, I think it's a bit delusional to think he can beat Ward... Much less stop Ward.

Ward will fight only in his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission. Looks as if SOB Ward is tied up in another lawsuit against Goosen. He lost the first one.............

    Why?

Ward's chin is hiding a bit of glass there. Groves is faster, has better movement and is better technically than all of Fraud's other opponents. Couple that with the fact he is arguably the best puncher in the super middleweight division and has an excellent jab and Groves KOs.

Maybe in the later rounds and maybe by losing a good number of the rounds. But sooner or later, Groves will hit Fraud and when that happens, glass will be shattered. Fact.

LOL, you boys definitely don't know **** about boxing.

First, Grove needs to beat Froch.

I seriously doubt he will. The odds are seriously against him.
I expect Froch will be training hard and going after Grove from rd1.
Groves has always had a glass jaw typical of many British boxers and my guess is that Froch will expose it early.
Once Groves is hurt, he never seems to recover very well.

If by chance Grove does defeat Froch, there is no way in hell he can beat Ward. Don't bet on Ward getting hit with those right hands Grove was able to hit Froch with. Groves's inside game is weak, and Ward will exploit it.
Groves is very open for lead left hooks, Ward's favorite and most accurate punch.
Ward is much faster than Froch. How do you think Groves will handle it?

    Stopped reading there.

"I seriously doubt he will": Those five words were enough to convince me that you're a mong.

I'm not so sure he gets passed Froch. Carl really wasn't up for
this fight the 1st time and it showed early, and while the stoppage
was BS in the 1st fight i'm seeing Grovsey getting bute'd up against
the ropes for a brutal and correctly called stoppage this go around.
GG doesn't have the stamina or chin to beat Froch and the cobra
already tasted Georgies best and got up. I'm seeing an absolute
beating from Froch to Groves this time.

    No worries.

Ward will not likely face Groves anyway.
Like Bute, it would be a waste of his time.
    Groves, LOL! :yep:lol:

Groves might beat Froch, but it's not a sure thing. I think the fight is 50/50...........Ward always wants to fight smaller fighters, he could get a fight with Kovalev or Stevenson right now.

It appears that Ward will be tied up in court once again, could be a long time. Ward might have gray hair by the time he gets to fight again.............

    I agree.

Ward will find it far more profitable to continue fighting nobody in the ring, and his promoter in court.
