The match making was fuking disgraceful. The guy shouldn't have been in the ring with butler. Time to step up.

Butler is a class act. One of the most talented fighters I've seen on domestic shores recently.

As for the future, he stepped up to bantam at the weekend and looked comfy, Arnie Farnell said he's staying there but can do super fly if the right opportunity arises. Bantam is a great weight for Butler though, Stuey Hall, Jamie McDonnell and Lee Haskins would all be very good fights for him.

Yea Bantam seems the way to go some good fights for Butler.

Cant be doing with anything lower than Bantamweight to be honest :patsch

He's ahead of Yafai at the moment for me. Can't see Hearn chucking Yafai anywhere near Butler until he gets a run of fights under his belt without any injuries.

I prefer Butler's style as a pro though - cracking body puncher.

He's improved bundles in the last couple of years and can see him possibly winning a world title this year.

iain lost to Kevin first time, I do fancy his chances in the return coz I think he's learned so much in the first fight,if he doesn't it's a long way back.

He should try and get a shot against Hall because, as much as I like Hall and give him credit for winning a world title, I think Butler beats him.

I'd quite like to see a British 4 way tournament between our Bantomweights actually. Hall, McDonnell, Butler and Haskins. Would be a cracking series of matches and, with Hall holding a world title, would mean there's a lot at stake.

Butler beats stuey hall IMO. Butler v McDonnel for the IBF title would be a great fight.
