I'll never forget the TV interview when Toney was asked what he thought about the Eubank/Benn fight while they sat there listening.
James responded he didn't care which of them won because he was ready to fight either of them, and he'd fight them both on the same night.
Benn immediately responded that he'd get on a flight to come over to fight him.

Eubanks sat there like a scared little girl and refused to respond, so Toney said to Eubank, "When I see you, Imma beat you and your momma's ass."

Toney: "No fighters in England. They all bums."

Toney punked Eubank on national TV. Eubank wanted no part of Toney.

James Toney had Eubank and Benn as scared as little girls. :yep:lol::lol:

Eubank wasn't going to respond to an imbecile.

Right. You get on national TV to put your hand over your mouth and act like a clam.

After Toney signed off, then Eubanks whined about him talking about his Mom and acted like he was about to cry.

Eubank was on national TV multiple times a week and had been for an hour already on that show.

He wasn't going to lower himself by talking to a guy like James Toney!

This is boxing, not the Wendy Williams show.

Benn responded like a fighter and said he'd fight him any time.

Eubank responded like a scared little girl and almost started crying about how he had been verbally abused. I swear, the boy had tears in his eyes. LOL, and that Lisp... :yep

It was a talk show special on Benn and Eubank. Remaining silent allowed James Toney to make himself look stupid without Eubank having to do it for him.

Eubank is a guy who lived in the South Bronx in the early to mid 80s when it had the highest crime rate of all time, a place where only the armed, stupid or INCREDIBLY BRAVE would venture alone! He had guns pulled on him because of his aloof attitude, politely asking guys to stop saying 'mother****er' in his English gentleman accent, and that he would 'end them' if they ever referred to his mother in that manner! He had guns pulled on him and called bluffs.

He fought Nigel Benn (who just wiped out Barkley in a round) and a 210lb ripped Carl Thompson. He wasn't afraid of anyone. Even James Toney.

Yeah it takes a special 1 in a million talent to scrape a decision against the great, invincible and untouchable Dave Tiberi. That clearly established Toney as the GOAT.:lol::rofl:rofl:roll::roll:

The audience was clearly into Toney.
    He provided the entertainment.
After Tony signed off, and Eubank started brawling, the audience felt embarrassed for him and the tone became like that of the audience hearing the story of an abused woman.

Toney made Eubank look scared, afraid, and weak minded.

In Toney's words; "There are no fighters in England. They are all bums!" :rofl:rofl

Toney would have whipped Eubank's ass. Eubank was no where near Toney's level.

Of the two (Eubank/Benn), Benn was the real fighter.

People were laughing at him (Toney). Eubank was above that nonsense.

It takes a special 1 in a million talent to beat Michael Nunn at his best, Mike McCallum at his best, and land every combination imaginable on Iran Barkley, as well as beating formidable Jirov 10 years past your best.

He ate himself out of the Tiberi and Jones fights. That wasn't the Toney who beat Reggie Johnson at his best, Prince Charles Williams at his best and an unbeaten Tim Littles.

was it the bit where benn said "i'll fight you" that made you think he was scared?
