Not Khan/Pac/Floyd type speed. I like variety, I wanna see him fight someone different to his recent opponents.

Nobody is saying that he CAN'T say what he wants. But don't ever think that because he says it we ought to believe it. #FOHwitdat:lol:

Hagler never said Mayweather was scared of Amir Khan. Most people here are illiterate and can't actually comprehend what they are reading.

pedjr is never about money. thats the excuse.

coincidence, he used the excuse to fight dela hoya to get out of contract with tr, where he could beat them all and kill arum's cashcows.

used the contract he signed with showtime to duck pacquiao, where he could beat pacquiao udner hbo and sign a contract with showtime or hbo for more money.

the goal is to protect the 0, using money as the excuse.

if he is about money, he could have rematched dela hoya for 2x-3x more money he made the first fight. he was scared dela hoya might have stopped sniffing coccaine for a change, work the extra mile and actually beat him in rematch.

Nooo! He's been knocked out. A sensational right hand counter shot from a bloodied Juan Manuel Marquez, and that may be the keystone moment of his career.

MARVIN HAGLER: With the Pacquiao and Mayweather fight, I think that Mayweather might be a little scared. But then there’s another thing, and he’s almost looking like a Sugar Ray Leonard in the type of sense where he is dictating all of the time. Hello! If you’re going to fight, let’s fight! Let’s stop all this stuff. Let’s just get it on! I mean that is what boxing is about. So he’s trying to gain more money or whatever. I mean you already made enough money. Do you want to fight the guy? Yes or no? And I think that Pacquiao is saying, ‘Come on! Let’s do it today’. But I wouldn’t wait around for Mayweather. I would take another fight and still make as much money as I can and then leave the game while I’m still on top.

Roy Jones JR -“You’re claiming to be the best pound for pound. Now that the man [Manny Pac] agreed to take a blood test, you’re still messing around,” Jones said to Boxingnewsonline. “So do you really think you can win? I’m starting to think he don’t. Because if he did he wouldn’t let this [the Margarito-Pacquiao fight] happen.
But I don’t think that he believes he can win. If he does think he can, he doesn’t think it’s easy.”

TIM BRADLEY – “Floyd doubts himself. Why won’t he fight Manny? Scared, man. He don’t wanna fight that. Floyd don’t wanna fight that. He don’t wanna see Manny in the ring.”

LARRY HOLMES – “Pacquiao did all he can. He did all I would have done. I think Mayweather just got a little too scared if you ask me. If he thinks Pacquiao is taking drugs so what, he should just say: ‘You take it, you kill yourself that isn’t going to help you, because with my talent and ability I believe I can still beat you.’ But he was scared to take that challenge. If they never fight it won’t be Pacquiao’s fault. Every time they came round to fighting, Mayweather put his excuses in.” (BTW Floyd has always made it known that Larry Holmes is his fav heavyweight of all time . PROBABLY NOT ANYMORE THOUGH  )

ATG radio – “Do you really think that we’ll ever see Manny Pacquiao/Floyd Mayweather fight?”

GEORGE FOREMAN – “No. Not at all. No, it’s not gonna happen. Mayweather had a chance to do that fight years ago, and maybe for good reasons, he didn’t want it because there was a chance that , in early when he made up his mind to come back in boxing, Pacquiao would’ve run over him! Then they got a little even in time, and then Mayweather got pretty smart and understood, hey, why? I’m making all this money without fighting him, why fight him? So now there is definitely no reason to do it.”

JAMES TONEY – “My thing is this, Manny Pacquiao is not on steroids. Floyd is scared to fight this boy because the boy is just as fast as him," Toney would explain as he laughed at the accusations of Pacquiao using performance-enhancing drugs. "Everybody making all these excuses. It shows you right there that Mayweather’s not a man. If you be the best fighter in the world, you fight the guys, know what I’m sayin’? No matter, don’t put down no stupid #$%$ stipulations, right. Hey, he should be a little scared. And Pacquiao is proving he’s one of the best fighters in his era, in this decade. I grew up with Floyd Mayweather… we all came from the same block in Michigan. Me, the Mayweather family, Buster Mathis, Tony Tucker… The ‘Hall of Fame’ block, you know what I’m sayin? I love Floyd and I’m glad he’s doing what he’s doing… but if you claim to be the best fighter in the world in the world pound-for-pound… fight! Don’t make no excuses.”
“Pacquiao’s going to knock Floyd out… and Floyd knows it. Floyd’s my man and I love him but I’m going to call it like I see it. The thing is this: Do you know what a rabbit does when it gets backed into a corner? It faints. And that’s what Floyd’s doing.””

SKIP BAYLESS - “Did Floyd DUCK Manny Pacquiao?”

50 CENT ( Floyds former best friend  ) – “Yes. That’s a 100 million dollars, and he just left it. I can't hang out with Floyd no more,I'm tired of running from MANNY PACQUIAO .

MICHAEL IRVIN – “I want Mayweather to stop messing around and making us brothers look bad by running. Okay, listen. Stop running, man. You’re making the brothers look bad. Get in the ring, even if you lose, it’s an honorable loss.”

MIKE TYSON – “Hey listen, he doesn’t want to fight the guy, it’s obvious. I don’t know if he’s scared of him or not, but he just obviously doesn’t want to fight the guy.”

STEPHEN A SMITH (longtime die-hard Floyd-supporter ), ESPN. – “I’m saying because of the Manny Pacquiao I saw yesterday, I have to believe that Floyd is DUCKING.”

    I'LL SAY THIS MOTHERFUC.KA .

YOUR OWN RACE S.HITS ON FLOYD AND ADMITT HE DONT WANT IT WITH MANNY . :deal

I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT , THAT BURNS ALL OF YALL ASSES .

IT JUST HAS TOO ! :yep

I think he was on something and they all knew it, including Manny of course. Otherwise he would have just done the blood tests 2 weeks before the fight.

I don't think he gave this much thought and I think Mayweather simply rubs him the wrong way. Reminds him of Leonard probably, who he thought he beat. He reckons he'd beat Mayweather too if he had the chance and wants to fight him.

I would have to believe so anybody who remembers correctly would know drug testing was one of the first things agree to with Pac's trainer on record saying we'll take and pass any drug test aslong as the split is 50/50 an even split is agreed to by Mayweather with no problem suddenly drug testing is an issue.

The only conclusion has to be they were scared how else do you explain Mosley, Marquez, & Bradley all saying if we ask for drug testing we can't fight Pac, then you had Pac accusing Marquez of peds, Marquez says lets both test Pac goes quite, even now in the Bradley rematch Bradley is doing advanced testing and Pacquiao isn't, the only time Pacquiao has brought up drug testing is when he had to face his former S&C coaches fighter which seems like Maybe they know something we don't not to mention his decline almost immediately after peds were brought up can't blame anyone suspicious of him he brought it on himself.
