Klitschko seems to get a pass?

Floyd is a fighting a guy who is ranked top 5 in his division(a division that is possibly the strongest in boxing) and who holds a legitimate belt, and everyone says hes a cherry picking fraud.

Wlad is fighting a guy who was stopped in 9 rounds by Kevin Johnson 2 years ago and who is maybe ranked in the top 30 of a bad divison. His most prestigious title that hes held is the WBO pACIFIC TITLE. No one seems to think this is a disgrace?

Wlad is ranked highly in most p4p lists yet seems to get a complete pass on fightibng guys like Pianeta, Mormeck, Wach and Leapai.

That list is similiar to Floyd fighting Soto-Karass, Josesito Lopez,Randall Bailey and Kermit Cintron.

Why doesnt Wlad get the same microscope put on him?

I dont even believe the "mandatory" argument. At this stage, everyone knows Wlad is the top HW. He doesnt need belts to prove it.

Leapai is his mandatory, dumbass. What, is he supposed to skip fighting him and get stripped of his belts purely to satisfy a few butthurt, dumbass geeks online?

    Get real.

looking the ring list and thinking floyd should be top 10.seriously whitaker, chavez, arguello, dempsey, hagler etc are not same level with floyd anymore.
world champion now 15years.ran trough 130-154 with ease.

if floyd have fought in 70's or 80's floyd would be already in GOAT discussion.

floyd moving up to LHW at his age would cement his place as the GOAT.

yes robinson had long winning streak, but between 147-160.floyd between 130-175 and winning LHW title at age 40something?

this forum is full of blindness and biased heavily towards old fighters

Any jackass can, as this board proves it.

Doesn't change the fact that he sounds like a complete idiot saying it. Stripes or no stripes!

Yes, thats exactly what he should do.
Who gives a **** about titles?

Everyone knows who the best HW is. He doesnt need another belt to prove it.

If the WBC made Mallignaggi(a far better opponent than Leapai is)a mandatory, would you be ok with it?

why do floyd fans pretend he gets singled out? wlad does get criticized for his level of opposition, while never claiming to be goat.

Are you actually comparing Guererro a multiple weight world champion coming off beating 2 highly ranked WW's to a guy who was stopped by Kevin Johnson?

    :yep

The reason why Haye got a pass for fighting old and completely irrelevant Ruiz was because he somehow was the crooked WBA's #1 contender.
Bowe defended his belt against journeyman Fergusson because he had beaten the highly regarded Mercer in a WBA setup wich backfired.
The WBO was feeding Leapai to Boytsov and that also went south, now Leapai has earned the right to face Wladdy because of that feat. It certainly sucks, but it's hardly Wlad's fault.

And there are many more of these examples in wich the alphabet orgs are at fault, not the fighter.
Does that mean the boxer has to pay for that and drop his belt? GTFOH!

Lol at you having the audacity to hate nonwhite Brits from ****stan, Africa, Asia, etc after all of the years of colonial and imperialistic oppression that the British empire subjected these people to. Hundreds of years of Brits killing people, destroying indigenous cultures, Stealing land and resources which didn't end until after you were reduced to bomb rumble after WWII and became a second rate super power. Your ancestors did more harm to people around the world than anyone has done to them in reverse. With the history of your country, how dare you insult people from anywhere else. I hope all the non white immigrates swarm your country and take it from you just to see clowns like you reduced to being subjects since subjugation is apparently a common theme in British history. What goes around comes around. :good

Some of the biggest fights of recent years have been for IBO titles or non-titled. Guys dont care as much about titles these days. Especially the top guys

It's still regarded as an enormous feat if a fighter collects all the belts and becomes 'undisputed'. The last fighters to have done that in the HW division is Tyson 27 years ago and LL, and today it's even harder to accomplish as back then because of boxing politics.
So he should just give up that chance to please you?

Once you're CLEARLY the best fighter in the division, whats the point?

If Wlad held no titles at HW,everyone would still know hes the best. Floyd bounces around between divisuions, picking up different titles. It doesnt effect his p4p ranking.

Ward barely holds any title of note, but you'll have a hard time convincing me hes not the best in the division.

Hatton and Pacquiao were fighting to be considered the best 140lbs'er when they fought and they were fighting for the IBO title.

When Pacquiao/Marquez fought the last time, it wasnt even for a legitimate title, but no one cared.
