I was watching both Patterson and Quarry fights the other day and browsed Patterson's record on boxrec again, I know he takes **** for his weak title reign but he was brought up so tough on his way up and fought absolutely everyone after losing the title

Considering that Donaire seems to have been enshrined as an all-time great for most people these days, and also considering the fanfare he receives, would it be fair to say that Jeff Fenech gets sold short in terms of accomplishments and opposition beaten these days?

The gap between them in most people's eyes appears to be large, but in my mind it's entirely conceivable that Fenech has the superior CV, or at the very least an equal one (obviously Donaire still has time on his side to change this). The only thing lacking from Fenech's resume is a dominant win over a genuine, proper all-time great in the real sense - but that's only because he was robbed of it against Nelson first time out.
