The "All Things Mayweather/Pacquiao" Express!!!!!!

(Mayweather version that fought Corrales and Pacquiao version that fought Marquez l.) I think it would be a great fight. Its a pick'em for me.

That Mayweather would have won, but the Pacquiao that fought Hatton/Cotto would have beaten any version of Mayweather.

 

There aren't many SFW that would beat that version of Mayweather.

Arguello would have been shut out.

Manny also would have been shut out.

 

Mayweather at that time was a more aggressive fighter than he is now. He was able to throw more combinations and moved around more. Pacquiao was a beast at that time also but only if you chose to try and slug it out with him or you stood still where he can hit you with those hard left hooks. I say Floyd by UD because of Pac-Mans recklessness when he wanted to destroy an opponent he would abandon defense altogether. Floyd would capitalize and use to shell to pot shot out of.

 

I am not so sure Mayweather would have beaten Sandy Saddler at SFW.

I'd have to agree that Floyd is arguably the best h2h SFW ever.

 

At lightweight, Floyd better not get caught by guys like Ike Williams the way he was against Mosley.
