After Kovalev beats Agnew this Saturday, who should he fight next? Ideally, he would fight a durable opponent who could give him rounds. But who do you think would fit that bill? Maybe Pascal.

He'll be fine for the rest of 2014. His promoters can match him with Jean Pascal next and then face an unbeaten young contender like Thomas Williams Jr, Eleider Alvarez or Blake Caparello and then by the end of the year try to match him with Andre Ward either at 175lbs or a catchweight.
He should try to get Pascal, Brahmer-Macca winner, Alvarez, Chilemba, Dawson, Bute or even Bika. The important thing is to remain active and building, the big fights will happen eventually.
No the big fights wont happen. What makes you think they will? He will stay busy, of course. But he wont get to fight the real competition in the division. and it wont be his fault.
Chillemba would be a good fight for tv. After that definitely should go after Braehmer and his WBA reg. title. After that he might be able to entice Pascal for a big fight at the end of the year or Eldier Alvarez or Oosthuizen would be ok. He's got some decent options, just no super fight with Stevenson. But after he would've beat Stevenson in September what would've been his options?
What was the deal Stevenson signed with Showtime, was it a two or three fight deal? If it's just two fights it could actually work out best for HBO as i presume the two fights will be Fonfara and then the winner of Hopkins-Shumenov. If Stevenson wins both then he has 3 of the belts and Kovalev will have 1 and HBO could offer him big money for a unification fight with Kovalev at the end of 2014 or early 2015. Kovalev definately has to target Pascal next, it would actually be a solid win if he beat him plus it would take out a possible opponent for Stevenson.
