Wow, talk about an all new low, its one thing to beat the current round of bums he's been beating but now with fighting lepai instead of giving a legitimate contender like Pulev who is ranked #2 in the world a shot he has decided to skip the top 10 and top 20 and head straight to the 30s. I wonder what the reaction would be if someone like floyd or bradley or pacman fought that far down the rankings :patsch

You do realize it's a mandatory don't you? Should he really just hand over his belt to someone ranked #38 instead of just beating him and taking the money? Pulev has been on record already as being not ready yet to face Wlad, but he'll get his shot.

Not true.....................Leapai is the WBO mandatory, so he has to fight Leapai. Pulev turned down a fight with Vlad because he needed, at least one of two more fights before facing Vlad................Vlad would have fought Pulev already, but Pulev did not want to fight him yet, as he was not ready.............

Vladimir Klitschko is extremely underrated. He is the top heavyweight in the world today...............

It`s the end of the Klitsckos` era. Vitali retired and Wlad is done! Even Leapai can do the job ending it, because he has the heart. And Pulev has the heart, the skill, the size and the mind to retire him.

Rankings are serious business. Wasn't Haye ranked in the top 5 after his trash talking video with Wladimir despite being a cruiserweight?

I am sick of all you sayin Pulev turned down the fight with Wlad because "he needed at least one more fight".
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QByFi1-_S84 1.30-1.50:

Its not if I fight once or twice before (Wlad) It all depends on organization and arrangement with IBF and how they will schedule the fight for IBF title. IFFFFFF there is a enough time until now and then I may fight in-between.
    - You are saying that because lack of fights last 12 months you are not feeling not in your best shape which is much needed to face Wlad.
Pulev: We have to be realistic. I don't want to just face Wlad and take a couple of millions. I am not fighting for $ though they are also important. The main goal is to bust him and get his belt.

    Selkock Adyn was Floyd's mandatory.

Imagine if Floyd took that fight and used the 'but he's my mando' as an excuse. The wbo would never strip Wlad. He earns them money just holding their belt.

Pulev is on record saying Wlad is ducking him. Never in his life did he say he wasn't ready.

Watch Wlad take a voluntary fight after he beats Leapai.

Probably. It would be unprecedented to fight 3 mandos within 12 months.

The Aussie is mandatory, but I don't think it matters, Pulev doesn't have the tools to beat Wlad the guy can't fight on the inside, which anyone who is smaller than Wlad needs to have top class standard of doing to stand a chance, that's not without mentioning Pulev's punch power will not trouble Wlad at all.

Imagine the reaction if Floyd fought Paulie if he was mandatory, and Paulie would be a FAR better opponent relatively speaking than Leapai.

It would be similiar id Ashley Theopane was made mandatory for Floyd.

You think this forum would just accept "well, its a mandatory"

First Wlad isnt ducking anyone, he is the best in division, BUT i dont care that this is his mandatory WBO doesnt make Wlad relevant its other way around, so he really should have said to them **** off.
Some here are acting like wow if Wlad was stripped by WBO that would be big deal, everyone would still know he is the best and i would respect him even more for declining terrible opponent.
