Is it possible? and if so, would beating floyd mayweather jr. twice do it?

The last time I did a top 100 list pound for pound (in 2011) Manny was #33; Armstrong was #2. I think when I do the next one Manny will be struggling to keep his position, so I do not foresee Pacquiao overtaking Armstrong.

Nobody other than Sugar Ray Robinson ranks higher than Armstrong. Pacquiao and Floyd will never ever be on that level and never could be

    Wow!

He would have to beat Floyd, next have lost to Marquez, hold the 126,135,147,160 (Armstrong drew with Garcia for the 160 title. He really won it. ) belt all at the same time and defense the 147 pound belt 20 times in two years.

Then he would be over Hank.

He has more chance of flying to Mars and surpassing Neil Armstrong.

Haha, I love it...I want to try.

He has a better chance of out-juicing Lance Armstrong...

(Joking...I don't think Pacquaio juiced but I could not resist.)

You could argue he has, Armstrong achievements weren't that impressive to me. I'd rate him above Pacquaio but it's debatable.

I don't know if he can surpass the great Henry Armstrong but a win over Floyd is really the only thing that could put him in the argument of being greater.

Nothing. Its too late to even come close touching that career. Armstrong has way too many fights, too many names, and too many accomplishments. Pac would have to fight about five times per year until he's about 55 to match Armstrong's legacy.

    Not impressed???

Owner of 126,135,147 at all the same time. Then defending the 147 belt 20 times in two years. Taking on either destroying or beating up Hall-of-Famers Ross, Ambers, Wright, Angott and near hall of Famers Garcia, Sarron, and Benny Bass. (That's what I am talking about. Where are those fighters at today?)

BTW, he knocked 27 fighters in a row just for you to think about. Think about that one for a minute.

Stop Bradley, stop Mayweather, stop Martinez and finally stop GGG.

Christ, that's a tall order. He'd have to knock out Marquez, beat Alvarez and Mayweather at junior middleweight, beat Sergio Martinez at middleweight, and then beat Andre Ward to be in the same kind of rarified air as Armstrong.

Manny would have to hold allllllllll the belts in 3 divisions at the same time. Armstrong had 3 belts at one time when there was only 1 belt per division.never happen....
