First fight was a close fight despite Marquez getting knocked down three times..

Second fight was definitely closer than the first fight..

Third was a close fight, you guys just have to admit it..

Fourth was a clear Marquez win whether its a fluke or not, but. . . Pacquiao was winning it until he got knocked out..

Other fans have it 3-1 for Marquez, some 2-2, some 1-3.. But for every time they fought Marquez is always the underdog.. News, betting odds, forum polls..

    The question is..

If its so obvious that Marquez is Pacquiao's kryptonite, then why are people still picking Pacquiao over Marquez? We just have to agree, Pacquiao will be the favorite if ever their fifth fight will get made..

I would pick Marquez in a fifth fight.

With my scoring he is 3-0-1 against Pac with the best results coming in the more recent fights. So I see no reason not to pick Marquez here, especially with the definitive KTFO6 H2H matchup.

Third fight was a pretty clear 116-112 win for Marquez on mine and the vast majority of peoples' scorecards. So, kinda close.

Ron Lyle was beating Ali until he got knocked out. Moorer was beating Foreman until he got knocked out... Manny was up by a whopping 1 point in 5 rounds, having already tasted canvas, when he tasted canvas for the final time. It's not as though he was sweeping every round and then was victim to a Froch/Groves like stoppage.

:patschBecause he is older just as Vitali is expected to decline before Wladimir does.

JMM definitely has Pac's number. Styles makes fight and I would be afraid that Manny may lose their 5th fight as well.

    No he doesn't.

The fight you would point to of Marquez's dominance over Pacquiao would be the third fight, when a 38 year old fighting out of his preferred weight outboxed a 32 year old. Even if it was a close fight it looks very good for Marquez because of the age disadvantage.

But supposedly Pacquiao was going through a lot of personal crap at the time. His wife had filed for divorce the previous day and he was psychologically out of it.

They were both two great fighters who matched each other in intense fights, Marquez could counter Pacman, where Manny had the power and speed that pushed JMM to the peak of his ability. They were great rivals, one of the best in boxing history.

Pacquiao is the better fighter but Marquez has Pacquiao's number. Marquez has the perfect style, and the game plan to beat him. He didn't at first but it got closer every time. That happens when you face the same guy over and over again. If Mayweather fought Saul Alvarez four times you'd see Alvarez tinkering with different game plans, trying things out, making adjustments, picking up more rounds every time they fought.

Pac cannot master juan, thats a fact. He was only leading on all scorecards by 1 point folks! a lot of people forget that, why is that?

He won more rounds in every fight they had! Thats why!

The 2nd fight i had 6-6 and Pac won because of the knockdown but Pac has never won more rounds in any fight they have.

5th fight happen, you have to Pick Marquez. Pac cant handle counter punchers, reason why he was so hesitant to fight Mayweather
