And Roy had a broken right hand in training camp and wasn't able to fully train.. So what?? excuses excuses... We saw what happened in the ring, Toney would never beat a prime Jones, ever....

Just as Calzaghe was green and dehydrated against Eubank...

Who cares? Roy has more than one punch in his arsenal that knocked fighters senseless.

A peak Mike vs a young Roy between 154-160 would have been amazing!

Roy had enormous respect for Mike, and admitted that he'd never have fought in the same manner as he did in 96, if Mike had've been younger.

Roy wasn't stripped of the title. He relinquished it and spoke to Holyfield's team, before signing to fight Douglas.

Nunn was also a great fighter.

    How about Nunn vs Mike?

Mike struggled with speed (Curry, Graham) and movement (Kalambay, Graham)..

Did he not out-box Michael Watson in the first fight? And out-jab Malinga? And use his jab, short right, side to side moves and flurries to sweep the first half of the fight against peek-a-boo pressure fighter Thornton? And use his jab and judgement of distance to totally dominate Giminez? And use his flurries to the body and side to side moves to sweep the first half of the fight against tall, rangey peek-a-boo southpaw G.Rocchigiani? And show arguably the fastest double jab and most flowing combinations caught on film against pressure fighting powerhouse Wharton? And use his jab, side to side moves and crisp short punching to completely befuddle Thompson twice? I say yes, clearly.

He struggled with speed and movement but it is a solid fact he beats peak Roy Jones?:huh

You kind of just hurt your own argument there.

Was only a matter of time before this thread became massively delusional.

Jones didn't have particularly good movement because he was so often out of position. Nunn of '88-'89 was thee moonwalker :good

I disagree, I think Roy had amazing movement. Probably some of the best ever. Toney had no idea which way he was coming or going, which is also a reason I think Roy would always beat him at that weight anyway.
