It's PULEV who is not ready. He's taking a tune up fight first, and then Wlad is next. The fight will happen later this year.
You guys need to read more, instead of just reacting.

There are so many lazy madafakers in HW division looking after an easy money and not training properly like Fury, Boytsov, Solis, Chagaev and many others bums like Wilder, Scot Haye. Why is Wlads fault about the current state?

If Wlad wants total unification than he needs to get the IBA, IBC, WFF etc., etc., belts. He doesn't do that because fighting those guys would be meaningless. As meaningless as fighting someone like Leapai. Quality of competition defines a fighters career, not paper trinkets. With the division being so weak he should be more worried about making the most competitive fights. Just my opinion.

If I were champ, i'd fight everyone and anyone who was a threat to my title. If the commission mandates a fight, i'd fight.

Unifying all 4 major titles one belt at a time, the Ring title, and the lineal crown doesn't happen unless you're beating the top fighters in the division. He's one piece away; why on earth would he give that up now?

Since 2010 he's beaten Haye, a unification fight and huge promotion as well as a non alphabet top 10 fighter...good defense though boring fight. He beat Thompson. This was a rematch fight many complained about. Decent defense against a fighter that had and still strives to fight the best. No complaints there. He beat Povetkin in a terribly boring fight, but it was a very good defense as Sasha had been highly rated for years as a non alphabet top 10 fighter. In between there has been Mormeck...a crap defense. Wach and Pianeta, both crap defenses, and now he gets Leapai. None of them have ever seen a non alphabet org ranking such as the transnational rankings or The Ring. Wlad is an ATG already, but by choosing to fight lesser comp dictated by ridiculous orgs instead of going after the best fighters does nothing to help his legacy unless you buy into the BS these orgs actually mean anything. I'd consider it much more accomplished to go after the 8 guys in the current top 10 that he hasnt fought than Leapai. I understand some guys aren't ready, but do we really think a guy like Leapai will ever be mentioned amongst a true top ten that doesn't have an agenda? I personally don't.

Honestly, Pulev is not going to be any better than Leapai agaisnt Klits.

I'm not completely sold on Pulev, but he's a much better fighter than Leapai and has proven so by beating better comp. That said, I agree he will not beat Wlad.

Pulev has a short reach and fights on his tip toes. He has no power or authority. He's not going to muscle inside and get off. He'll be at the end of Klits 1-2.

You have no idea what the WBO would or would not do you f-cking dunce. Pulev will get his chance. Wlad wants all four belts. How many other champs have three belts in the same division?

Pulev after Leapai if the little black rocky dont drop wlad like a bad habit!

The fight should be good while it lasts:smooch

Black Rocky? He's Samoan, wouldn't he be closer to an Asian Rocky?

Anyway, don't bank on Leapai scoring an upset. He's to slow and to unskilled. He'll be cautiously picked apart and stopped by round 5.
