I think Stevenson hits harder with one shot with his left.. But Kovalev has better power overall, more even, every punch he throws will hit hard.
I personally think getting hit by a guy who has accumulative power is worse than being hit by a guy with one punch knockout power. With the one punch knockout guy, it's over in one punch. With the accumulative puncher, he does more damage over the course of the fight.
im not too sure who hit harder in the fight you posted,,,Stevenson? or the floor?? dude hit his head pretty hard on the ring floor when he went down. The punch was good, but the floor had the final say:hey
true that, kovalev likes to attack the body alot aswell breaking them down with hard thudding shots, also stevenson really has to land that moneymaker where is kovalevs varied attack will always discourage his opponent to attack thus becoming a punch bag for kovalev too bang on, but if they were to fight each other due to stevenson beating the stronger fighters, id have him slightly ahead also hes faster but chin has been cracked.
Try telling that to Julian Jackson one shot KO victims.:deal One shot KO power is much better to have knowing you can end it all in one punch.
BOONE HAS FOUGHT THEM BOTH. BOONE SAYS KOVALEV HITS ALOT HARDER. What more is there to know? You'd rather trust your own opinion? Based on what? The bottom line is that we have physical evidence that Kovalev hits harder than Stevenson. Nothing anyone here can say will matter more than what Boone says. So as of now, with the evidence that is available, Kovalev hits alot harder. Until each guy's power is measured by experimentation ... we go with the physical evidence. A well travelled journeyman's opinion based on personal physical experience.
Kovalev has 23 wins, 21 of them by KO, 19 of them within 3 rounds. There you go. ^ Thats like Mike Tyson **** right there ^
