I don't think he's afraid of Manny. I truly believe this fight would of been happen if arum wasn't in the picture. I feel Floyd and Arum beef with each other is the real problem here.

if arum was the problem, why did mayweather OFFERED pacquiao $40 million with NO PPV & also drug testing knowing that Pacquiao is contracted with bob arum & top rank?

I thought Mayweather jr doesn't want to fight Manny Pacquiao unless he leaves Bob Arum/Top Rank?

But it's such an enormous cliche that, "he punches from everwhere." He doesn't punch from everywhere, and if Floyd can counter the first one that's game over for two, three and four. The question isn't how many punches Manny throws, it never ever is that question where really, really good fighters are involved, it's "can he get of the right punch first time often enough to make it count against the times he gets it wrong" - it's "Can he sell a lie often enough to draw the counter prematurely", it's "how much does fighting a deluxe counterpuncher reduce his output."

Nobody "punches from all angles" and nobody "throws a hundred punches a round" against a deluxe counterpuncher, whether that's Calzaghe against Hopkins, Marciano against Walcott or Mayweather against Maidana.

I'm not saying this guy is all wrong, at all, because that's a line people toss out, I think picking Pacquiao to beat Mayweather was valid (not my pick, don't think of it as that valid now) but there's considerably more to it.

mayweather family knows pac is a threat. if he was an easy fight, why with all these demands? obviously mayweather doubts himself against pac:deal

Judah was always a four round fighter. Floyd didn't do anything special to fucikn beat zab. But you saw when Judah was at his best he was beating mayweathers ass even knocked him down unofficially.

Against a fast southpaw mayweather would have to use the high guard but against pac who can fight 12 rounds that's not the best gameplan.
