froch needs to go out and look for the ko as fast and as soon as possible, he might take a few punches and might be put on his ass again but if he hasnt ko'd grovesy by the 5th, george will get the ko by the 10th.
he needs to catch groves cold reverse the tables. he wont be able to survive a 9round beat down this time! :smoke

I think he massively underestimated him last time. Don't think he will this time. I think he'll come out stronger and finish him by the 5th.

Groves by ko before round 8 for me
Froch was and is in the same position as calzache was when Carl was calling him out prior to his retirement
Carl should of done the same and avoided groves

Too young too fast too clever

Carl has been a fantastic ambassador of our sport but has messed up by taking groves on

Even if froch wins he will always be remembered for saying he never took groves seriously and couldn't get up for the first fight
Very unprofessional from someone that has always been a dedicated consummate professional

i see it differently, if froch wins the second by ko or ud by bashing groves about, then it validates what he said about not getting up for the 1st fight, it was a mando he didnt really want, he wanted ward and then possibly retire.
so a fully focused froch taking on groves might be different. and people cant take anything away from carl if he wins, unlike calzaghe he took the young blood and whooped him. carl has never ducked anyone where as joe may have. i like both of them. froch is getting pure hate only because of his fat **** brother, u cant expect carl too say oh ye george smashed me about, out fought outboxed and outmanned me and the ref saved my ass.

No I'm sure your good mate 'Grovesy' wont mind

Not having ago, just a little familiar, especially as I haven't heard ANYONE else refer to him as that :D

To add something to the thread, I think that the longer the fight goes, the better 'frocheys' chances are, no one can doubt Froch is going to be very competitive in the championship rounds, can Groves?

I can't believe people can be so deluded, Froch was shot last fight, that was obvious from the first bell, Froch is getting knocked out in three rounds.

I'm no fan of Froch, infact my dislike for him may even border on hate wheras i adore that ginger nut GG but sadly i think Froch will win the rematch surprising easy contorary to opinion.

Froch by TKO somewhere between rds 4 to 10.

Yup. Im expecting Frochy to be pretty much shot. He took way too much punishment last time out.

I actually remember thinking that while watching the Kessler 2 fight. Despite the win I thought he was looking a bit slow and sluggish

Ill start by saying I want Groves to win. Ive got nothing against Carl but I like how Groves comes across more, and obviously wed see more of him if he wins. But Ive thought since this match was made that Froch is going to go in for a bar brawl early, and could well succeed. Georges tendency to cut won't help him in this. I really hope Im wrong as a loss here wouldn't do Groves a lot of good here. They'd say he's still young and can come again but a l2nd loss to a man who is nearer 40 than 30 won't do him any good at all.

you either watched the 1st fight backwards or thought the ginger 1 was froch.

Agreed. Remember watching that fight and thinking "I really hope Froch retires after this" Everything about him looked sluggish and it was the same in the Groves fight. Its only his strength, chin and sheer determination getting him through.
