Crazy head movement on the way in, good defense for an inside fighter and an ability to throw extended combinations to the body and head are all good technical skills and Armstrong had all of that and more.

If you can't see that, then that's too bad...'cause you're missing out on someone special.

No. It's stupid. I'm happy to debate Armstrong and Mayweather, because I love them both but I'm not discussing them with someone who wants to pretend - or God forbid actually believes - that fighters from the 1940's are "primitive".

That's ****ing stupid. Nobody serious believes that stuff. Your first post to me was very strange and I understand some of us say strange things if we are drinking, but if you aren't you need to have a long hard think before you make more posts. It's not 2007 any more kid.

Maybe to you guys who have never boxed but no he was absolutely terrible technically, u guys have never boxed and thats why u think how you do!

completely off balance hands by hips head on opponents chest and just wind milled, like a bar brawler from the wild west, good for his time but please dont compare him to the best of today!!

theres only one way to box and that's rigo mayweather style these are the skills you should admire not brawling, skills always win!

And your point is..... So what ?

Why did Floyd say he want the winner of Martinez/Williams rematch and then intentionally becomes deaf whenever asked about either Fighter ?

No one believes a single thing that comes out his mouth .

    Simple answer .

Uh...he catches one clean shot in that exchange (and immediately counters with a right that connects, and then goes downstairs while rolling with most of the blows coming his ways, or catching them on the arms and shoulders).

All your statement proves is that you're not really a boxer at all...or, at the very least, not a boxer who has been confronted with someone who can constant, intelligent pressure to you inside the ring. When that happens, get back to us, and let us know if anything changes.

This is what Armstrong was capable of doing to a skilled boxer. :good

Skilled boxer, u think hes skilled shows how little u trolls know, to even compare this guy to mayweather is a disgrace, keep fantasizing! im done! when u actually have boxed had a few fgihts u'll realize how wrong and ignorant u really are, boxing is about balance footwork technique everything something which armstrong lacked!

Footwork is about putting yourself into the best position to punch the other guy, and Armstrong does that. Balance is about being in position to throw another punch after throwing the first one. Armstrong does that. And different techniques can be used to ensure that you punch the other guy and not get hit in return. Henry did this more often than you, or other people, give him credit for.

There are different styles of fighters, and your inability to understand that indicates that you haven't really boxed much at all. Playing as Floyd on a video game doesn't count, either.

No fighter is beyond skill-set. Ask RJJ. Skills pay the bills, and while Floyd has those in abundance, Armstrong has a different set of skills that likely would have presented Floyd with a pretty huge challenge.
