We now continue with the QUARTERFINALS of the All-time heavyweight Head-to-Head tournament. Here are your quarterfinalists:

    1. Lennox Lewis
    2. Vitali Klitschko
    3. Muhammad Ali
    4. Larry Holmes
    5. Wlad Klitschko
    6. Mike Tyson
    7. Joe Louis
    9. George Foreman

As a reminder, here are the rules:
    • Best of three fights.
    • 12 rounds
    • 20 x 20 ring
    • 10 ounce gloves
Boxers and their camp are given extensive footage of their opponent and have a week to prepare a game plan.
Boxers are in peak physical and mental condition in their absolute prime.
After each fight, the fighters are magically restored to their pre-fight condition, but retain full knowledge of what they learned from their opponent and have another week to prepare a revised game plan.

I think Klitschko would win fairly comfortably

Well, Klitschko is basically better at almost every department and has the physical advantages as well. In my opinion he'd beat Larry without much difficulty.

Holmes rises from a right-hand knockdown to beat Wlad

Wlad's the one with the glass chin right? Yeah, I'd give it to Holmes... Wlad's hugging and holding won't work on him

Wladimir is too big, too strong, and is faster than many realize. That 1-2 will eventually land full on and Holmes is stopped by round nine or ten. I think Larry would score with that jab and a few combos himself, which would make Wlad let his hands go more and fight. That's why I think Wlad would stop him.

Ehhh... you'd need more than an ATG jab to keep WK from turning the fight his way. I think based on styles, WK takes all three fights here.

Actually, Pre-Steward (may he r.i.p.) Wladimir would land bombs on Holmes.

You know nothing about the sport of boxing.

Larry had a better jab, chin, stamina, footwork and workrate.

He had a larger range of punches and was better at throwing them in combination.

Wlad could barley land a glove and got dropped against TOS. What did TOS do better than Holmes?? Nothing. He was below Holmes in every way possible.

How does Wlad struggle badly and is on way to a loss against TOS but beats Holmes easily?

Who else did Wlad best that is up there with Holmes?

Perfect matchtup for Wlad. Holmes is a slow, strategic fighter who doesn't take chances. Wlad by UD.

    :rofl:nut

Holmes was one of the fastest HW to ever step in the ring. You stupid, stupid man.

Larry would get off 3-4 piston like jabs before Wlad could land even one.

Holmes showd a skill set in his 40's against Mercer the likes Wlad never showed in his whole career.

Holmes fought every minute of every round in 15 rounders. Wlad couldn'd go more than 5 a medium paced fight against Brewster.

Wlad cautious single 1-2 shots don't touch Holmes who moved around the ring better than anybody Wlad ever faced in his life.

Wlad couldn't even hit David Haye who just stood there in front of him .:rofl:lol::nut
