Kovlev will continue to have a hard time finding opponents. Pascal would get battered.

Probably. But it might be a way to get Stevenson in the ring. If you buy into what the Canadians are saying, one of the big reasons Stevenson is targeting Hopkins is to avenge Pascal's loss. Don't believe it myself, but it would certainly remove that from the equation should Kovalev KO Pascal.

 

Supposedly Pascal is going to sign with Haymon. So he might not be a realistic option for Kovalev.

 

If Pascal had either the heart or gas tank to last the whole fight, I'd give it to him. But the guy crumbles late for whatever reason

 

Pascal did face hard hitter in the past. Bute, the Shark and Froch are big hitters (although Bute was not comiting with his punches).

Plus he his fast.

I doubt though Pascal would want to fight Kovalev. But who is there for him to fight? Ward? Maybe Ward.

 

I want to see this fight. I think it'll be an interesting match up given his speed, but he's more open than Agnew.

 

Pascal has a decent beard. Be interesting to see how Kovalev reacts when he is in with somebody who punches back. I wouldn't mind seeing Kovalev in there with Cloud.

 

Now that agnew lost, I think a good opponent for Pascal would be Kovalev. For both parties.

 

There really aren't too many options at LHW for either of them.
I'm sure that Pascal is interested in the winner of Hopkins-Shumenov. That is a more rewarding fight for him than fighting Kovalev.
If Kovalev were smart he'd try to get the winner also, or maybe Bute or Dawson as a keep busy fight.
