also have been wondering that,if the techniques what the fighters from past have used was so efficient.why don't we see any modern fighters,fight like armstrong etc..

Can't have it both ways. There is a difference between "running" and "boxing". Manny (and his fans) likes to insult his opponents when they box and don't stand there like punching bags for him to easily tee off on. Then he tries to employ it against Rios, to avoid getting his chin checked, and it's considered "smart", by his camp, fans and observers.
