Kovalev doesn't really get rd1 KO's. Rd1 he uses as a "feeler". Its usually rd2 or rd3. Just like he dropped Agnew hard last night at the end of rd2.
Nah pascal vs Kovalev would be an epic fight. Probably better then the Stevenson fight actually. Adonis isn't durable enough to withstand Kovalev's bombs. Pascal is one of boxing most hardass ****s. Pascal has the foot speed and hand speed to build up an early lead and the toughness to withstand Kovalev's bombs. I can see him taking a big lead into the late rounds and holding on by the skin of his teeth when he does the usual pascal late round gas job.

Stevenson vs Kovalev is 50/50 fight , pascal is not stevenson , he doesn't hit as hard and kovalev would beat him either by tko or UD.

Oh sorry I mistook the meaning of the your meme then. My apologies. I think Kovalev's powerful but at the end of the day he relies on it too much. He doesn't have fast feet and he only throws power punches. He is also mainly a mid range to out side hook (to quote dwyer). He can fight on the inside but his power is not the same and he gets countered a lot. Last night he got fustrated a lot by Agnew's movement and because he can't fight on the inside and he can't really box all that well you could see holes in his game. He started lunging into shots from distance. Plus he had trouble keeping his man on the ropes and got backed off on a regular basis. Pascal has better foot work then Agnew, is a better counter puncher and has more power. I alse believe that he is more durable (however clearly agnew is a durable guy). My point is that pascal moves well enough to fustrate Kovalev and screw up his footwork. He has the speed to hit him and get out. He has the toughness to take his shots (for a time) and he has the counter punching ability to take advantage of Kovalev's wide open guard once Kovalev gets on the inside. Kovalev has monster power and is always in position to throw it. He also sets it up well like Arthur Abraham. How do you know what Stevenson is? His claim to fame i knocking out the same guy pascal ruined. Bad Chad was undefeated until pascal smacked him around.
