    this is ******ed....

p4p goes off strength of performance/opposition

bradley went life and death with ruslan, who with all respect is an espn caliber fighter

and he lost against pacquiao before that

that's one good performance out of his last 3....

ward and mayweather have barely lost rounds comparatively

Actually, you can clearly see that I marked the first round for Provodnikov with a P.

As for the last round of the JMM fight, Bradley was just running around on his bicycle. I don't remember him throwing anything meaningful at JMM, nor did I feel like JMM was on the verge of going down at any time, especially not to a feather fist like Tim Bradley.

Bradley lost 2 or 3 of his last 3 fights....
Ward hasn't lost since he was a kid I think
    dumb thread
Ward is much more talented and has a better resume

It's not that dumb. Bradley has fought better comp, and recently beat JMM, who's p4p better than anyone Ward has faced

I disagree, super middleweight was much stronger than the 140 division bradley was in and his 'wins' at 147 are very contraversial.

    agree

if all the 140's and 147's actually fought each other that argument could be made....

top rank's stable not fighting gbp's label means bradley hasn't proved himself amongst the elite comp...

ward fought everyone in his division.... and a very good division at that, schooling every opponent.

Well most of today's welters were JWW when Bradley ruled the division. Ortiz couldn't break into the top 10, then went up beat Berto and fought Floyd. SMW is not that great either, only Froch sniffed the back of some p4p lists. Bradley was also pretty dominant vs divisional contenders, though I agree Prov shouldn't score him any points p4p. Ward is also very inactive, no good quality wins since Froch end of 2011.

Should go to Bradley soon if he happens to defeat Pac...
Andre Ward should be moved down or removed if he isn't active enough.... hopefully he fights even once this year.

I was impressed by ward against Dawson. All other times I see jab, cross, hold. Hold, hold, head butt. Jab, cross, hold. Head butt, hold. He's a super middle klitchko. I don't see the amazing talent I read about. Maybe you guys do to much reading n not enough watching n paying attention. Hes boring as ****. Think he could fight the way he does against tim bradley if they were both 147?

Ward, and it's not even close. Timmy the head isn't in Ward's league. Not accomplishment, and not skill-wise. The fact that MOST people here are saying Tim is a reflection at just how dull most people on the general forum are.

    Dead even poll. Interesting...

Right now it's Ward imo, but after Pacquiao - Bradley II the discussion might either become more heated or pointless, so lets just wait.

Bradley lost to Pacman, then almost got beat to death by Provnodikov, then out-slicked JMM.

Ward is unquestionably the #2 boxer in the world.

    1. Floyd
    2. Ward
    3. Rigo
    4. Pac
    5. Bradley

You could make a good argument either way. Bradley has the better wins (Marquez, Pacquiao), but he also has the worse performances (Provo, Pacquiao). Ward has very solid wins, unified his division (something Bradley never quite pulled off), but most importantly, looked untouchable doing it.

What settles it for me is the good old fashioned eye test. You watch Ward and he *looks* like the second best fighter in the world. You don't get that same level of visual confirmation with Bradley.

Blind judges be damned, the Pac fight is NOT a Bradley "win".

Unless you consider Chavez-Whitaker a LEGIT draw.

Bradley's best CLEAR wins are over Marquez, and Peterson.

But you are correct about the eye test. It's really no comparison at all.

I think people are making the mistake of picking Bradley, only because he's more exciting.

Skill and talent wise, Ward is a better fighter and it's not close.

If they were the same natural size, Ward would beat Bradley by a commanding margin.
