Why should he be? Ward can smother Kovalev's power and take the fight to him on the inside. It would be easy work for Ward.
Ward will retire undefeated he is too good I don't see anyone at middle or light heavy who can beat him
ward speaks truth. pulling away from a puncher is how agnew got dropped. ward will step into that power and put kovalev on his heels. dawson was the guy that offered to come down to 168. ward didn't force him. ward winning the super six tournament trumps both stevensons and kovalevs accomplishments. when ward finishes his business at 168 he will move up and beat both guys. hopefully they can remain undefeated until that happens. i don't think either guy is as good as everyone is making them out to be.
"Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories." - Sun Tzu unfortunately, dawson did not know thy self. he paid the price.
You're correct. Dawson was "A" list @ 175. That said, the original point still stands, Froch and Dawson are leagues better than any of the TOMATO CANs the Krusher has crushed...
I understand all that, but when we are discussing the quality of this particular win, we have to take into account that Dawson was drained, doesn't matter whether it was he himself who offered to come down to 168.
There's no "not", he was drained, Ward beat up a drained Dawson, who went on an even further decline after the fight. Still a decent win though.
but to suggest that ward drained him is inaccurate. it was dawson who called out ward and said he could fight at 168.
I have never had an alt, I have no need for such ****. You on the other hand... make sure you take your stupid alts with you.
Not taking nothing from Ward but Kov can hit, plus he is not wild. The question is, can Ward take a one two or a flush right hook from him. I know Ward can out box him but boxers get hit too. The same for Kov, I haven't seen him tested the way Ward can test him, he's gonna take a lot of good shots all over the place. Can his chin hold up.
