Tommy Coyle has said that he is starting an 8 week camp tomorrow leading up to his next fight. Does this suggest that he is on the wembley undercard? Any news on Kevin Mitchell v Vasquez? Joshua's opponent at Wembley? What would be people's realistic "best" undercard?
Mitchell looks not to be fighting Vasquez until later in the year. As for Joshua, it's likely he'll fight for the English title.
Mitchel vs Vazquez Joshua vs ***ton Bellew vs Masternak, Kucher or Durodola Brook vs Porter Quigg vs Santa Cruz Rose vs Andrade Burns vs Figueroa Well, that would be my dream undercard.
I think the undercard will be pants, I don't think Skelton is a bad fight for AJ at this point, it's still a step up from his previous opponents. After Skelton I think he should fight McDermott for the English strap.
It's going to be a small undercard due to the wembley curfew. Hearn has apparently said that it needs to be stacked with quality because of this.
Card will be crap by the sounds of it, Michell unlikely to fight Vazquez, Rose world title fight in June, I bet the "world title" Eddie will make is Scott Quigg vs a guy ranked 50. Is Eddie to thick to realize with every casual boxing fan watching now is the chance to introduce a breakout star, Sure everyone is watching for the Main Event but it's a great chance for someone else to be in a big fight and really raise their profile and in turn Matchroom to get a new marquee name. Stupid move by Hearn in the long run to have a **** undercard.
Typical shite that rolls out of Eddie's mouth. Anyone remember him saying Groves v Froch I could only be PPV if the card was stacked? Silver spoon boy couldn't lie straight in bed.
Kell brook would have been ideal for the breakout star, only potential matchroom fighters for a world title fight are McDonnell, Mitchell and possibly bellew
He wanted a world title fight on this undercard, can't see it tbh, not without borrowing some other fighters.
Surely Quigg will be on the card as he's hearns only other world champ at the moment. Should but him in with someone good regardless of how much time he has to prepare from his fight in manny. That would raise Quiggs profile like you said... and Quigg deserves to be a bigger name as hes a top quality kid
Hearn should look at the Newcastle bill as a warning. Plenty of things can cut a fight short and ruin the main event, a good hill softens this blow.
Think there'd be a riot if the someone gets a cut in the first couple of rounds and it gets called off lol
