Are we talking on most boxers period, or the boxers considered to be great fighters? I hear his name thrown around at times in the discussion of great fighters, which he simply was not. He was a very good fighter yes, never great. He won't get anywhere near the Hall Of Fame, and doesn't deserve to.

You are not serious. Cotto lost to Antonio Asterisko, and Manny Pedquiao... Trout I won't even count because Cotto is NOT a 154lb fighter... I would pit Cotto against the VERY best in history at 140lbs and only an envious hater would say Cotto would not have a very good chance of beating them ALL.
"All time great," seriously? First off, Mosely would be the one who beat Margarito, and "exposed" him as you put it. After that, Pacquiao broke his eye socket. After BOTH of those beatings, Cotto finally got his rematch, fighting the corpse of Margarito, wow, what a win!! He has that win, and one over a 35 or 36 year old Mosely, who had been in a ton of wars, and was on the serious decline. Went down to a knee twice and quit vs Margarito, lost by 9 rounds against Mayweather, knocked out cold by Pacquaio, beaten soundly by the great Austin Trout. That's definitely the resume of an all time great....
