Pac will not overwhelm Bradley because Bradley is also a freak of nature. P ac might want to but in the back of his mind, he will picture himself asleep on the matt. He intends to use intelligent pressure and that's exactly what Bradley intends to do. It's gonna be a boxing match with a little fighting in between.

I think Pacquiao definitely won the first. But I am also leaning towards Bradley. I think Manny is just cashing out one more time before retiring

    ?

Marquez didn't do any of that in his third fight with Pacquiao and the vast majority of viewers thought he won with relative ease.

i think that hbo...lampley in particular, with the help of kellerman and steward...sold that fight as a pacquiao win because they had financial reasons to do so. they wanted the mayweather/pacquiao fight and bradley didn't fit into that equation. i initially scored that fight a draw but after watching it several times and noticing how lampley and team do a great job of deceiving the viewers...i think bradley deserved the nod.

the argument then becomes...well 98% of the media and all the fans blah, blah, blah...their opinions mean ****...and none of them are professional judges who check their bias at the door. how many of those 98% of the media picked pacquiao to win in the first place? no one wants to be wrong.

i can point to several rounds and instances during that fight where bradley continuously outlands pacquiao and even lands great shots...but lampley and crew are silent. but when pacquiao throws lamps along with the crowd filled with pacquiao fans cheer as if pac actually did something when he didn't in most instances.

i'd welcome anyone to review this fight round by round with me and i'll illustrate the bias. i know there was a video made to do this...but the guy who made it barely scratched the surface.

groupthink is real and it was being used in full force for that fight. fcuk hbo and fcuk jim lampley.

I actually agree with you how the broadcasting crew sold the fight to the viewers. I watched the fight again this past Friday night, and I was so irritated by how they called the fight. Bradley did great work in that fight, but they were so pro Pacquiao, it took away from the fight.

Pacquiao is an exciting fighter to watch, but one thing I've noticed in many of his fights is, he throws so many fast and exciting combinations, he often get credit for punches he doesn't land, especially when the crowd reacts as if he landed each and every one of
them. I did have Pacquiao winning the first fight, but it was nowhere near the landslide victory some believe he won by.

Don't think it's dumb for anybody to pick Bradley, there's been much bigger underdogs in this sport, who came out on top. I personally think it's 50/50. (it may come down to who Arum want to move forward with).

i scored it a draw...but i could make the case for it going either way by a round or two. i agree...it wasn't a landslide. i hear what you're saying about bradley throwing and missing a bunch...but in that fight...there was a lot he landed and hbo's spin doctors were silent.

it's very easy to be swayed by the crowd and the commentary.

nothing wrong with picking Bradley to win. just as long as you stand by your pick afterwards if Pac wins and you give him the credit he deserves.

i got to admit i thought pac lost the 1st fight. Taking rounds of and only fighting in spurts doesnt do him any favors, regardless of wether he thought he was winning easily.

this time we will see a motivated Pac and a motivated Bradley. Im picking Manny to wipe the floor with Timmeh this time.

    and by stoppage.

    why??

    cos he wants it:deal

I was referring to Pacquiao missing a lot not Bradley, but once again I thought Pacquiao got too much credit for punches missed and Bradley didn't get enough for punches landed.

    oh. yeah.

prime example....first round. bradley was clearly winning going into the final seconds. pacquiao throws 3 lefts. 1 misses completely...1 barely lands...and 1 lands solidly. not enough to give him the round imo...but it doesn't stop lampley from shouting that those 3 big left hands won the round for pacquiao and steward goes in on how they move bradley everytime he lands. he only really landed one and it didn't seem to phase bradley all that much imo.
