In 2 days there is an interesting card with Luis Ortiz vs Monte Barrett as the main event.
The undercard is featuring 2 former Olympic Heavyweights, who did not impress in London but turned pro.
I've seen some work from Breazeale on YT, but wasn't really impressed. He's fighting a decent opponent in Navy Aquilera though.
He's now 9 out of 9, all KO.

Michael Hunter is unknown to me.
Also a young heavyweight Stephan Shaw is listed.

Are these guys the new breed in the American Heavyweights?

Breazeale will not go far. He only has some power and that’s about it.

Hunter is the son of Mike THE BOUNTY Hunter. He was a very good amateur winning lots of national titles and being on the olympic team. also served as sparring partners to some top ranked pro heavyweights over the years.

Donovan Dennis is another one to keep an eye on.He a lefty with good handspeed, power, and overall skills. He was however KO'd in the WSB, so his chin will be a question mark.. Trevor Bryan is another, but little footage on him.
I'll add Charles Martin too who has been looking sharper as of late.

So Dominic Breazeale won his fight. I haven't seen it (because of the time difference) and I read the comments and he definitely improved.

Anyone know how Michael Hunter (and Stephen Shaw) did?

Next week Alexander Flores and Charles Martin will compete for the vacant WBO NABO title (previously held by Seth Mitchell).

Can't find anything about these guys, especially Flores. Are they any good. Both their records are not impressive.

Tye Fields is better actually...had he followed the Vitali/Valuev blue print he could have been a champion.

Breazeale and the other doughy heavyweights are really Poorly bred. Their slow metabolism is the only reason they are heavyweights :conf

These breeds simply gain (lbs) from their European autosomes & show up as heavyweights, the lucky ones pickup fast twitch muscles fight in lower weights like Andre Ward & Dirrell...so its luck, either higher ring IQ+ fast twitch or slow twitch and stiffness :dead
