Mainly because Wilder brings a perfect 31-0-0-0 (KO 31) to the WBC Heavyweight championship fight, it captures the imagination of people...power is worshiped :boxer

No question Wilder is not a weightlifter.
He probably does curls in front of the mirror, but nothing serious.
On that subject a fighter like wilder could benefit from powerlifting, and or OLY weightlifting.
Like Mark Bell says "Strength is never a weakness".

Firtha ate big shots of Wilder and he lasted 4 rounds. Wilder punches really hard but to say that he's the most powerful boxer ever is a little bit early. He is up there with guys like Tua, Foreman and Shavers but right now it's questionable if he "even" punches harder than Tyson

    No thanks

That is like adding a passenger cabin to an F22, he is no cargo plane. Wilder is there to shock and awe foes :boxer

Any bored guy can lift weights, simple roid up and lift :tired it ruins boxers, Wilder is a perfect example of how a power puncher is built

Timothy Bradley body is a good example of how it has nothing to do with power...Otherwise a master boxer like Bradley will just bail himself out with KOs :patsch

Tua, Foreman & Shavers probably punch harder than Tyson. Tyson was a much better boxer than all of the above thats how he destroyed his foes... Wilder boxing skills are minimized to straight power punching utilizing his menacing 84" reach and firing down out of a high altitude gives him raw physical advantages that put him at the unprecedented 31-0-0-0 (KO 31) :boxer

Yes he can bend steel with his raw hands, leap tall buildings with a single bound, faster than a locomotive, and gets knocked around the ring by a couple of little guys while wearing head gear :patsch

Wilder has bird legs. Tyson Fury is bigger blacker stronger than Wilder. Fury could out lift Wilder in any weightlifting event. And in a fight Tyson would hit Wilder in the chin and make him do the funky chicken
