Lopez was quite a puncher but I don't see him lasting too long against Tony Ayala Jr. El Torito would ultimately be too strong and relentless, and Jose wouldn't be able to stop him.
Great match-up. I really liked Lopez and really dislike Ayala. I don't want to pick Tony but he had a more complete game and stayed focussed in the ring. I think it goes the distance with Ayala winning. That kinda hurt.
I think Lopez would beat the **** out of Ayala. Ayala would have his moments, but Lopez would stand up to him and wear his ass out.
Tony, what a tragic piece of **** that guy was. I rememnber he was scheduled to fight duran, after he battered moore if my memory serves me right. The latter fight was on ITV live one saturday afternoon too!!
