Despite shaping up to be a one-sided loss (a shutout if he even makes it that far), this is the most Aguilera has ever impressed me.

He's always been talented enough to have moments against guys like Adameck, and to spring the occasional upset, but this is as motivated as I've seen the guy.

    Round 6

Breazeale is flapping at the guard of Aguilera from range. Jabs and light shoeshines on the body by Aguilera, leaning in and resting his face on Breazeale's chest momentarily before getting shoved away. Breazeale is digging a few right hands under the elbow to back Aguilera up. Breazeale headhunts, pushing sleepy gondolier jabs and reaching in with light taps up top with the right. Aguilera is hustling with longer shoeshines downstairs and circling tight around Breazeale, hunched up in a tight guard.

    10-9 Breazeale

    60-54 Breazeale

    Round 7

Breazeale is popping Aguilera in the face with the left-right combo, not always straight and rarely with any snap on it, but scoring. Aguilera has some puffing and small lacerations on his face even though his gloves never stray from it, resuming defensive position immediately even when he is countering with backfoot jabs and flurries. Breazeale corners Aguilera, pecking over, through and in between his guard with straight combos and wide hooks but unable to generate a big enough punch to shatter it altogether, nor keep Aguilera there more than a few seconds.

    10-9 Breazeale

    70-63 Breazeale

Very likely.... Why else would he face stiffs for so long? His track record is even worse than Wilders, and besides... He's Cuban, so I don't think a glass jaw would surprise anyone

    Round 8

Breazeale is sticking the jab and taking long bow-legged steps aside. Aguilera is reaching up and in with counters but can not keep the pressure on Breazeale for long before the heavy arm punches of the taller man knock him back. Aguilera tries an overhand right as Breazeale is leaning down into him with a two-armed shove, deflected with Breazeale almost guiding him away by the wrist as though helping a small child use a tool. Size and strength disparity never more apparent than in that last moment.

    10-9 Breazeale

    80-72 Breazeale
