    Round 4

Barrett ducks a right jab and throws up a blind left. Hard left hand lead on the body from Ortiz knocks Barrett into the ropes. He bounces off them, parrying a right jab with his left, and tries moving in and falling atop Ortiz, looking for a clinch and waving his arms down at Ortiz's. BIG LEFT BY ORTIZ, Barrett on his knees.

    TKO4!!

Barrett defo didn't want it anymore...
That punch in the first RD ended this fight.
(MB wanted no part of Ortiz after that)

Did Ortiz look like a future WBA champ ? Ortiz vs Povetkin for the WBAbelt

Official time, 40 seconds of the 4th.

Ortiz was shy of matching Shane Cameron's time by 22 seconds.

Barrett had no intention of staying in that ring. Poor dude has had enough, time to hang em up.

On another note, considering how poor Barrett look and the first time i have seen Ortiz fight, i wasn't overly impressed with Ortiz' performance. Seems like a pretty limited and sloppy fighter.

21-0, eighteen kayos...but this is honestly Ortiz's career highlight so far, a very bad version of 2 Gunz Barrett.

I think i was right...Ref is quoted as saying (by a broadcaster) that he thought that Barrett broke his nose and didnt see any reason to continue it so thats why he stopped it

A HW southpaw with legit punching power could be a problem.
I'll have to keep an eye on this dude for sure.

There was nothing here to suggest he is a problem for Povetkin, but also nothing to suggest he wouldn't belong in the ring with him either.

Really you can't read much into this performance, as Barrett was so useless...and by turn, you can't read much into Ortiz's abilities since he still has yet to face anyone with a pulse.
