    Monte needs to have a farewell fight or two and hang em up. He's way past it. I would fear for his health at this point. Decent fighter in his prime, fun to watch.

    :blood I think we can let him off with time served and just call the last six years his farewell tour (highlighted by the big feel-good W over Tua in the rematch after having been homeless and sleeping in his car when they fought to a draw the first time).

    That man needn't ever set foot in a ring again.

    when and if he fights Stiverne his glass jaw will shatter into so many pieces it will be impossible to put back together again (Ala Humpty Dumpty)

    I meant if he wanted to leave the ring on a winning note. I am sure he can beat your average club fighter, but if he retires you won't see me complain.

    Ah, yeah. He'll never have a moment as satisfying as Tua vs. Barrett II, so I see no point in chasing that last high. Cold turkey is best (and safest). Even a journeyman could end up hurting Monte now.
