I cant imagine that we're gonna see another guy, pushing 50 competing at the highest level again, anytime soon.

People seem to almost take for granted what hes doing.

We're talking about a guy who is older than Lennox Lewis still competing at the absolute highest level.

With the amount of TRT and other anti aging roids and therapies on the market now, expect it to become the norm for the fighters that have more of a defensive style and are world class operators.

And yes, I am implying that Hopkins has dabbled with some kind of **** that keeps him fresh, and before the Hopkins fans start waffling on about how he wouldn't do that, you don't know the guy... Shane Mosley come across like a straight shooter, fact is he was EPOED up to high heaven.

A lot of athletes are doing it now, it's the norm in pro sports, if you don't do it it's getting to the point where you are in the minority.

Difficult to predict, but you're probably right. Seems fighters are just brought along to quickly to make the big cash and than its done. A loss today means less money. Hopkins really didn't make the big money till Trinidad and had already established a disciplined life style not based on making the most money. Jmo.

Floyd strikes me as a guy who could go on for quite a while if he so wished.

His style isnt really based on high levels of athleticism, and he keeps himself in top class condition, has never really been in any wars.

Dont think he wants to fight on for another 12 years to be honest. Think he retires before 40.

    This is BS.
We don't know him, but neither do you.
If you can smear someone's rep, then you should at least have a shred of proof, and not some random meaningless spectator's opinion.
To be honest, I have seen many people who maintain their youth as they age.

If you never smoked, don't drink, never consume drugs, eat correctly and get your exercise and rest, even you can ****** the ageing process.
The problem is, most people don't live right and do all the things they shouldn't do that impacts their vitality. Especially Europeans who age faster and have more nature ailments then any other.

Other fighters who may possibly be capable of fighting at high level in the late 40s.

    -Andre Ward
    -Floyd Mayweather

I mean, it has been all uphill, but cloning technology is coming along...if he can stay with us another few decades (or enter into a cryogenic program or preserve his DNA else wise...)

I know I don't know him, but we live in an age of if you have got the dough then there's a multi billion pound industry which deals with all kinds of **** to keep athletes in peak condition.

I'm implying it's possible that Hopkins has dabbled, if you think otherwise then so be it. Not asking you to believe he has, just highlighting that the current situation of how easily accessible it is and how widespread it is in sports.

He may have never used, but would you be surprised if he had? I sure ****ing wouldn't, and all these athletes deny using it to the hilt, they are told to do so. All you have to do is listen to the likes of Mosley and Holyfield speak about how they would never knowingly put anything like that in their body... yeah right, all that **** is an act.

Hopkins is a whiley old ex con, now not saying that he's definitely took roids but what I am saying is to keep those multi million dollar pay days coming in people will try fooking anything and are willing to do anything to keep in the mix.

    I'm just saying it's possible.

There's also some very naive people out there also who will buy any old bull****.

I'm a sceptical fooker, and wouldn't be surprised if old Popkins is EPOED up or dabbling with some kind of oxygenating system for the blood which is rife today in all kinds of sports.
