Being Irish I really should be paying more attention.

    Round 6

Conlan is pressuring without falling all the way in, working long piking body shots. Smoes tries chopping down with a right as he backs up, targeting the back of Conlan's head as he's ducking forward to hit the body, but Conlan is able to loosen his neck muscles and dodge at the last second, taking advantage of Smoes' inertia to land meatier body shots. Smoes finally goes down from a big straight right and left rip. Saved by the bell.

    10-8 Conlan

    60-53 Conlan

    Round 7

Forceful jab on the hairline by Conlan. Smoes is stumbling across the ring. Quick salvo downstairs and up by Conlan, smacking all over Smoes' gloves and skull. Smoes opts to go down. He stays on his knees, the ref counting him out.

    KO7!!

I wonder if the Brits are also struggling.

    You get used to it.

I think you have to be a really bad European SFW not to get a shot at one of the Euro titles some time in your career :!:
