I don't doubt Pacquiao said it, it just doesn't sound right. If Pacquiao did say it, then maybe Bradley is right about Pacquiao's lack of a killer instinct. There's nothing wrong with respecting your opponent, in fact you should, but it's a slippery slope when go into a fight with a little too much compassion, after all, your opponent is trying to inflict bodily harm on you. On the flip side, it also lends to excusing a possibly bad performance.
Have no problem with guys who go into the ring with their god, just don't want to see guys use that same god as some type of excuse for how they may or may not perform.
