Just watched it back. Only blame here is with the fighter. What is he playing at!! He didn't fancy it, pure and simple

 

Some people seem to find this hard to accept, he was counted out.

 

Horrible, pitiful stoppage. The ref musta had the other finger up his arse he only counted to 9. What a putz. Further solidifies british stoppages are the worst in boxing. They should have neutral, capable refs like in the states. Disgusting.

 

It isn't hard to understand "4..5..6..7...8...9..out"

I thought a guy with the experience and savvy of Cazarez would know better

 

Yea, but in the UK the refs usually don't know how to count to 10. You count to 10 and then you're out.

Butthurt fool. you need a boxing rulebook. The ref administered the count CORRECTLY. Hugo had 12 seconds to get up but didn't. No one is going to admit that 'the count sucked' (Except butthurt haters), because it simply didn't. Don't believe me? grab a stop watch and count from the time cezares' knee touches down, he had 12 seconds!! the ref counted him out, it's not the ref's fault that he didn't get up in time. the ref counted him out, get over it! smh

 

Even Cazares admitted he got hit hard and messed up the count himself in the press confrence .
